Hey guys! So here it is another FGW HST as you can tell over the years my favourite livery and train! As said I now have 4 FGW packs. 43017/43004 43056/43036 soon to be renumber.
Brand new 43070 and 43036
New release 43087 and 43098!
£650 for all this absolutely crazy, abit gutted as just looked on KJB models who are normally one of the more up there on prices £296.99 + £37 a coach so would of save £48 but there we are! Either way still bloody expensive! God knows what I’ll do when the new tooled one is released £362!!! No sound!!!! I paid £225 for TTS intercity swallow HST released three years ago! Now that was a bargain hey! The prices are crazy and while I type this my mind is boggling!
Hopefully more to come soon and take care you guys, soon to review LNER farewell HST and 7 coaches! Lovely ole job 😊

They are eye watering prices for a coach.......until Bachmann came along with a Mk2 Driving trailer coach for £149.99!

I like the look of Hornby Trains and coaches but the price puts me off which is a shame 🙄

Whilst I appreciate your frustrations, the facts are simple - you still paid the price they asked for the product so to you it was worth what they sold it for.

I’m not the only one tho? Just airing my views, and as I said I am stupid to pay the price for something I enjoy. I bought the APT again, it increased in price, I’m not the only one complaining about the prices, just difficult when you have kids and a mortgage to pay!

@@00VirginTrains1 I think you misunderstood my comment and apologies for that. I agree the prices are high and that the increases that we’ve seen in the last few years are astronomical. I suspect that as more people are forced to drop out of the hobby due to the affordability of it the prices will continue to rise and eventually will crash. I hope that you’re able to continue to enjoy the hobby and that the price hikes haven’t tainted it too much. I’m still waiting for my FGW set to arrive from KMS rail tech 👍

@@GoodfordModelRailway I apologise also, I don’t always read things the right way my apologies. I always continue to save where I can ready when releases come out, they all seem to come at once! I’ve pre-ordered the class 91 to go with my Class 43 DVT. And pre-order a full LNER 91 set, many pennies! You still haven’t got your FGW HST, I am very surprised 😮

The prices are going up and the quality of Hornby is going down. I have just done the review of 60028 Cappagh if that would be of any use for you mate. I am editing the video for 60095 ready for March. Also I did my Class 43 DVT review that will be up in March as well. All my videos are non biased and I say it the way it is. Thanks for the video though mate.

The prices have gone crazy! I now have a 10 car APT set but cost nearly £900 as I bought a second powered NDM as one is just powerful enough to run the train! I will take a look at your videos and look forward too seeing your DVT review, thanks for watching and comments I’ll be sure to view yours soon 😊

Lovely as it is that's silly money I bought my gwr train pack 2 years ago for 200 euros which is around 180 pounds 🤨

I’m an idiot really for paying the price, but the FGW stuff always gets stupid money. Don’t think these powercars will be rushing off the shelves! I’m very lucky to have three GWR set’s meningitis set, old oak common and of course first and last pack. The retool Class 43 at a whopping £362!!! I need a mortgage just for new trains, thanks for watching :)

How come the roof is the colour purple as well as the body. Shouldn’t the roof be black?

All the releases have blue roofs on the powercars and coaches. They look black in real life because of the exhaust soot. But blue on the real ones thanks for watching!
