I like that all the jumpscares in this game are not the creatures quickly pouncing on you, it's _you_ darting at them and them grabbing you out of shock.

I think what's meant to be happening is they're jumping to grab you, because the other one broke the glass and you can vaguely hear the sound of flesh being ripped, meaning that yeah, they're doing you harm and it's even something the guy mentions could happen, but the game doesn't seem to be having a game over condition for the jumpscares, leading to this confusion about if you're doing something right or not.

@@sammer1097 Because the camera is zooming towards them (just as it did with the first doctor jumpscare) and also **the monsters are inside a box with a massive workbench between them and you.** If you're not jumping towards them, they have telekinetic vacuum powers.

@@palecaptainwolfkayls8499monsters, aliens, demons, etc. I may not have seen it correctly, but I Believe the rat is fused into the scientist and it might possibly be the voice/brain using the human vessel. That would explain the expression. Unless it's just the rat wearing a lab coat also and I couldn't tell if they were fused together or not on my phone screen.

Some mechanics do seem to exist for a non-gameplay reason and prioritize that over meshing with the rest of the game. Rotation in particular does rotate the monster, but only has such convoluted controls so the player can accidentally spin one apart. Waiting for the monster preview is good for hybrids, but waiting for it constantly for previewing stories takes a huge amount of time when a photo in the dossier would be more practical for the player, make more sense in the game, and make the function of the cell less ambiguous.

I'm not sure where you are seeing the convoluted controls. Are you really referring to sliders as "convoluted"? If so, you probably have more problems than a simple game and I would really recommend you check them out.

@@LugiDergX Nah, not being able to adjust or stop the rotation at any point, or even rotate them again is the biggest thing with rotation. It doesn't feel like you're controlling a turntable, but telling a rat to tell another rat how fast to turn the table. It's not a control, but a prank.

I feel the Game could benefit from having more base Monster.designs which are randomly picked at the start of each Monster. So you dont memorize every one of the Monsters and actually check if theres something about the new Monster options you get for templates that would fit.

Do you realize that misophonia is so bad that we often need to know when to do that beforehand or we suffer immensely? It only takes one single second to cause a misfire in our brains, and there's no going back once it does. Misophonia can be extremely crippling.

If you put up the bars, was the monster able to take them down to attack you? Or did the bars just "fail"? Idk why you would turn the monsters around with that much sped unless it was to kill them. So I would love to see the dev expand on this, and maybe perfect it to give explanations of the purpose of things. Your reactions were funny.
