2006 Polaris Trailblazer Trail Blazer 250 two-stroke 2-stroke ATV air cooled quad with Mikuni VM30SS carburetor. Yep, you heard me right, many owners as well as factory Polaris mechanics say it is "normal" for it to dribble fuel from the overflow tube when the engine is running. LOL OMG.

I have a 1998 Explorer 400L that does the same thing. Glad I found this video. I was going to try and use so honing compound to get the needle to seat better in the bowl, but this is easier.

I've had that problem for a while took the carburetor off multiple times work with the floats never could fix it but now I know thank you.

Many people complain about it on this model. Vibrates like crazy. The only "Fix" is the raise the drain tube up above the carb. Easy place to put it is in an upper frame hole on the right side. Opposite of the left side where the other tubes go.

Thanks. You have a new member now! I have this problem today in my TB250. I was wondering why my bottom plates are completly oiled with no cracks in my engine or leaks on its joints/retainers. It sucks!! Hilarious indeed. I am from Brazil... no aftermarket or OEM spare parts here. Can you share where did you buy the carburetor repair kit?

I am a but confused because when i turn on the gas it starts leaking gas out of the vent hoses, what do you think it could be? And thanks for making these great and very helpfull videos!

@@HorsepowerHouse another question if i use the starter spray like you said to turn it on and it still dosent turn on, can it be the floats. Btw the vent thing stopped, thank you.

See above message. Rebuild and throroughly clean the carb. And make sure float is set correctly. Don't just blow some air in there or spray some carb cleaner. That isn't good enough. REALLY CLEAN IT.

What is the size of your vm30ss carb ?? 30mm inner diameter and 36 mm outer diameter?? Please respond back ! I'm asking because I bought a Polaris xplorer 250 4x4 and I'm trying so hard to find out what carburetor is currently in it & what size fits! The manual says VM30SS but the only marking on the carb to try to identify are MIC and HO25 ( I believe) This is my first four-wheeler and the gentleman I bought it from didn't give me much info about it

I sold this atv 2 years ago. I have no idea. All I know is I was unable to find a good aftermarket replacement carb.

Wouldn't be a problem capping it? Wouldn't it overflow the carb ?

No because it is gravity fed.

I'll lift the hose up! I'm sick of it dripping. I was afraid it would overflow the carb and cause issues. Only happens when running. It does shake a lot. Mine is a trailboss 330, but it seems it is the same.
