Paco wat een geweldige filmpjes. We waren eigenlijk opzoek naar een fairline, maar na een bezoek aan een haven werden ons geadviseerd om eens op een Elling te kijken. Eenmaal thuis toch maar eens gaan googlen en toen vonden we jouw filmpjes......we zijn om. 20L/PU is waarschijnlijk peanuts vergeleken met watde fairline squadron verbruikt met 1500 PK We zij je erg dankbaar dat je deze inkijk heb gegeven. Erg leerzaam en leuk. Bedankt!

Couple of lucky devils! I'd love to have an Elling probably the 3 would be more practical for myself bust still would enable me to travel the seas. Awesome video 👍👍

Merci pour le partage. Formidable voyage... Cette chaîne manque un peu de voyages de rêve comme celui-ci à bord de bateaux à moteurs...., et de bateaux de rêves... Même si ce n'est pas dans mes moyens de pauvre retraité, pour moi ces voyages sont gratuits.... Merci....

it was rather short trip isn't it. It took about 15 minutes. It looks a lot longer distance on the map though.

Wie kommt es bei einer Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit von 8 kn zu einem Verbrauch von 20 Litern pro Stunde ?

Dank je. Prachtige video. We vinden Elling schepen ontzettend gaaf. Wel een paar dingen die ik niet begrijp. De boot wordt geadverteerd zeer zuinig te zijn bij lagere snelheden. Toch zie ik in de laatste minuut van de video dat jullie meer dan 21 liter per uur gebruikten en gemiddeld 8 knopen oftewel 15 km/u voeren. Zou het verbruik bij die snelheid niet minder moeten zijn? Of hebben jullie bepaalde delen sneller gevaren?

aan het eind van de reis kwamen we in tijdnood en hebben we aanzienlijk sneller gevaren. in het brandstof gebruik zitten ook de Kabola ( w.water en verwarming) en de generator. Ik heb getankte ltrs door de uren gedeeld daar moet eigenlijk nog de voorraad vanaf... Volgens de Volvo verbruiksmeter gebruikt de Elling idd bij 7 kn 7 lt/hr. Bij een hogere snelheid gaat het verbruik progressief omhoog.

Love the Elling yachts, both looks and design. I wish I could afford the E-4. Good video, although I really must mention that despite what many may believe, Columbus did NOT discover America.

@@pacoblanco9969 Hi...yes, the Chinese and Vikings were here before Columbus, way before Columbus. Either way it does not matter, because none of them discovered America as it was already populated thousands and thousands of years before any of those people showed up. Is that your Elling E-4, or did you just deliver it to the owners? It's a beautiful boat. The E-6 is my ultimate favourite, though.

@@MetismanInBC It was my own boat. Offcourse the E6 is a very nice ship, but a diffrent class alltogether...

@@pacoblanco9969 The E-6 is an awesome boat, but in all honesty the E-4 would be the boat for me and my family. Much more suited to exploring the many bays and coves around the west coast of Canada and into southern Alaska, while being large enough that we aren't bumping into each other all the time. I am sure you will have many exciting times aboard your E-4. I'm totally jealous...lol.

Nice video. On the Elling website it says the boat can do 1,500 nm at 7.5 knots. At 1 mile per litre. How did you get to nearly 4,000 litres of diesel?

by sailing a lot quicker than 7kn in the second part of the trip. Also the consumption included the generator and hotwater/heating

Hello currently looking at buying a new Elling e4 and trying to decide if to go for seekeeper stabilisation or not.Based on your use of an E4 what do you think?

Hi, I did not have one and did not miss it. offcourse it will be more comfortable, but in my experience after a day or so, you are used to the ship´s movement. Offcourse the Elling being light it will be a bit wobbly at sea....

@@pacoblanco9969 yes ! Yes quite ! but seakeeper especially helps to have stability at mealtime or a good night at anchor if swell .. I have a question! why Elling why not (dutchbuilt) van der heijden or wim van der valk or other!?

@@wingedmonkeys548 because Elling is a private company, the ships get built through neptune shipyards in the netherlands. The companys you mention are family owned and have their own shipyards. Elling is pure dutch ( The netherlands made ) the directors name is Anton
