What can you buy with £25? Well, in 2021, that's all you need to book yourself onto a hot air balloon ride over Luxor. But safety always comes first and things didn't exactly start off as planned.

The overall safety record of hot air ballooning in Egypt is poor. However since accident in 2018 in Luxor looks like it's improved

The price 550 EGP is only for couples or for solo travelers too?

I believe it was for solo travellers too. However when we were there they didn't have many tourists. If you want a cheap price you can always try to negotiate. :)

Absolutely NOT safe, its going to be 6am, Luxor hospital is dreadful and anything past a broken ankle and you are in for a flight to Cairo then medivac to your own country. we were in Luxor last week in a blistering relentless 40 degrees C, the taxi drivers/touts are relentless and agressive. The place is Egypt's shame.

No. We booked it at Sindbad Balloons office.

Sindbad, the guy in your video charges a min. of 80 USD per his website. Surely, it cost much less if you book it when your in Egypt?

Yes, it's easier when you negotiate in person. It's also seasonal and will vary depending on the demand.

The price is far too cheap! If you’re putting yourself in the air don’t do cheap in a balloon!
