If you’ve seen the latest Mando Episode, it reminded me of this figure.

I wish Hot Toys would do more Star Wars. There isn't alot of new stuff lately, mostly reissues like the Deathtrooper or Darth Vader with a new packaging. I would really like to see Padmé Amidala, Jango Fett, Cassian, Bodhi Rook, Baze Malbus, Mimban Stormtrooper, Clone Commando, Arc Trooper, B2 Superbattledroids, Droidekas and BX Commando Droids

That gold tool around the ankle is in reference to the "painted yellow knee" on the vintage kenner figure. Brilliant.

Yes, buttons on a couple pouches is accurate. The holster says Neimrod actually. That holster and the side pistol was a Nemrod Pulce 40 scuba spear gun. The holster is a thick rubber so they couldn't really sand it off. Also was used for Bespin guard pistols.

As somebody that owns the actual vintage Boba Fett figure, I will definitely say the colors are spot-on.

They did a good job with this one albeit just a re-paint. Everything really pops. The backup clips indeed are not well executed and counter intuitive. What I did to make it easier to clip is to hold the figure horizontally so the clips are hanging straight down then you can easily insert the backpack on. Good job on the review Justin. Hope they release more Empire figures and not just repaints or reissues! ;)

The holster says Nimrod. It’s a speargun holster and that’s the brand. I agree with you that he shouldn’t have the damage on the armor. But to also have him be more like a Kenner Fett, then he shouldn’t have the scalps, pistol and holster, or his cape.

Absolutely love these figures and Empire being in my top 20 movies, I've been late to the party and trying to pick these up, I just received this one and had Vader for a while, need to hunt down the other Fett, pick up Lando and cannot wait for Luke in his Snowspeeder flight suit.

This release is getting a lot of hate but I love that we finally got something designed differently for Star Wars. The all black formula gets boring after a while. Also, the colors of this pop so well! People will regret it when it sells out.

I have the return of the jedi deluxe version, the empire strikes back version, and I was lucky enough to find the animated colour and style one in February, I got a side show collectables (I think that's the make) prototype one, and I have a pre order for the mandalorion, and now they bring this beauty out, so I'm searching for that one now.

hello justin i bought a vintage hot toys boba fett too and i have the pieces of the armor on the chest which are badly positioned. Did you find a video where customers repositioned the pieces of armor correctly on the chest? this frustrates me on my hot toys too :(

The thing with the jetpack is that HT really wanted to make a 100% screen accurate Boba, so they replicated those hooks like the real coustume, but they should just put a bigger stronger magnet and keep it exactly the same.

The box is the best bit.

When you got out the Kena ver and the holiday special ver they looked like 2 mandalorians. I think they snuck the holiday ver into the Mando series.

I have mix thoughts about this one since I still have my vintage kenner figures and vehicles from star wars and I love the HT figures, but I think Vintage is only for Kenner's action figures, the accurate term should have been retro style or something like that. I still don't own any star wars from HT but when I start getting them surely I'll try to get the movie accurate version, because for a vintage one I prefer my Kenner figure which I still have, don't get me wrong this one looks nice but for a retro version I think it has a lot of details that the original didn't have besides the bullet holes that you already mention, but I know this figure is a take from HT of the original vintage one.

I have the vintage black series version of the kenner boba and it has the same battle damage in the exact same spots as this guy, maybe that's why he's not clean like the original figure?
