Sure, it's the paintjob, her eyes are too wide open and she now looks like a crazy woman, not Carrie Fisher. They nailed it with the two previous headsculpts.

I personally agree with the original commenter as well there’s something on the Endor Leia that gives her a somewhat creepy stare, might be the way her eyes are painted. I really do think the Hoth Leia sculpt still has the best Carrie Fisher likeness imo

I know there are 2 for her belt to loop around, but did yours have a 3rd slit on the shoulder like mine did? I watched the movie just to see that was a detail the replicated. Apparently it was, but I just want to make sure that the toy was really make that way, with a 3rd slit of the shoulder of her poncho.

@@JustinsCollection if hot toys produced a new Darth Vader and his cape was dark dark dark brown, would you say it was fairly accurate? Just because it's a ewok, doesn't make it ok for hot toys to make it less accurate then a Vader. Match its color to what's on the box, or on the 1000s of other images online. His hood defines the look of Wicket and seperates him from all the other ewoks on Endor. It's a big deal that Hot Toys totally failed during production. This also isn't a opinion on head sculpts, does it look like the character? This will often be debated because it's determined by each individual's perception of the head sculpt itself. This however is just color.. is Darth Vader's cape black or is it dark dark dark brown... It's black. Therefore any other color would be wrong not fairly accurate.

@@JustinsCollection and understand this Justin.. unlike Fett or Vader or Stormtroopers ect.. this ewok will probably be the one and only production run.. no others to choose from, which makes it more important to get it right the first time. Like you, my favorite figure is Fett and I have plenty to choose from .. I have them all lol but Wicket.. I can have only one and his hood is the wrong color. I'm returning mine and my collection will be incomplete. If my channel was bigger, I would push for hot toys to recall the hoods and make it right. I wouldn't have reviewed the figure and said it was good.. letting hot toys off the hook

@@JustinsCollection yes the paint is a litlle bit different but I'm still thinking that the Hoth painting is really closer to reality. I made a picture of the HS of my hoth Leia version and I swear it could be taken for a real photo of Carrie Fisher! The Endor is (in my opinion) a little bit too make up and specialy with the eye and eyebrows which are different.

@@JustinsCollection I get that you can hide them pretty efficiently, and it's not an issue for most, but it's more of a personal preference of mine. I even hate when the seam at the wrists is visible, and I think that's due to the fact that my collector's journey started with statues. I also think that visible seams and articulation points ruin the authenticity, which is very important to me. Because of this I almost didn't buy the DX16 Maul figure, and I am glad that I did. That little seam where his head connects to the neck is never visible when you pose him right and I can switch out the heads which is great. But if it was a different version of Maul, say a version of him where he has a short-sleeved shirt and the articulation points of the elbows and wrists were visible, I wouldn't have bought it. As I said though. Personal preference here, and I do think that this Leia looks the best out of the ones that are available. So far I have 4 Hot Toys figures that were carefully selected for their ability to entirely hide the joints, as well as being the characters that I like. I have four more on the way, with two being delayed due to the shipment issue at hand, and one figure from Threezero on the way that should arrive by the end of the week. All share the same quality of hidden articulation points and seams. I do hope that I manage to break myself in a bit before the Spider-Verse figures start launching. I REALLY want to have the lot of them, and especially Spider-Gwen, but that seam at the wrists still seams daunting to me.

But I can see the improvement in the paint-job over the three versions. I just wish HT would make anew one. The headsculpt is always the make-it or break-it for me. That’s why I’ll be getting a WonderWoman from the new movie; that headsculpt is amazing.
