Oh man, I attended this show & when Jorma announced an acoustic set & another full electric set, the place went nuts! And loved seeing his brother Peter (saw this show & the one at the Stone Pony a week earlier). “People who try to leave without buying a t-shirt will be shot.” 😂 😆

Blues/Rock & a bit of jazz, live music as it was meant to Be. Still playing, after all these years. July 19, 2024 at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg PA. Masters of Music.

My word! This is fantastic. My brother turned me on to Hot Tuna in about 1973 and I've been a staunch fan ever since. Thanks for posting this, Dan.

Been going to Hot Tuna shows since the 70's, never a bad or even mediocre show.

@davidanderson9560 1983 at the Beacon was a total waste of time. My first time seeing Tuna, very disappointing.

I used to hang with jorma on Tuesday nights in the city when he was teaching a class at the new school. We were swinging for the fences in the lower east side. We’d always end up at Emilio’s some how. New York was New York back then. Bens pizza and falafels on bleaker street. 357 was open and smoking ! Thanks for the video.

A friend of mine used to say that he would hang with Jorma in the city and I never knew it was true or not. He used to say that they would have dinner at some Italian place

I used to go to those classes at the New School ,too. We hung out at the Lone Star a lot. His ex-wife, Margaretta, would hang out and crash with Melissa and me at the house at Bleecker and Lafayette.
