Hi, I did the steps but the UV is not showing on the box. (grayed grids with letters) used UV unwrap and UV quick shade node And how to tell if your imported free obj statue in houdini has UV or not? Thanks!

@@emilsvfx It's ok I think I added UVs. I thought there were already UVs in the file node statue, but there are not so I added them. I plan on fracturing it and so how to maybe make sure that the inside faces have UVs as well? Thanks in advance! God Bless

I think it works with all uv texture. Maybe if have same seams there will be some problem. For that use triplane uv.

Please don't advise people to use solver SOP for things like this. It adds time dependency and is completely unnecessary for this effect. Animating the v component of uv is not difficult.
