Hi, just found your channel today! I use a similar one-and-done from Mac paint pot in the color Groundwork. It’s on sale at Macys for $15 (reg. $25). It applies and blends great. Works perfect for my hooded eyes too. May be a less expensive option for you to try. I think the VB shade in the purple looks very pretty but I’ve never seen it demo’d. Great to find your channel!

I must admit, I am not convinced with these shadow sticks. They all look the same to me; that is, it doesn't matter whether it's VB or Hourglass or Laura Mercier or....the overall effect is the similar for one and done shadows. But thank you for demonstrating these shadow sticks, Kiki. Always appreciate your videos.

I love these shadow sticks on you!! I am a fan of Victoria Beckham Lip glosses. Have yet to try the eye shadow sticks. Also love hourglass products. Thank you for demonstrating these. It is a joy to see you. Love the lipstick you used also! Is that Sisely? Take care

I just took a shower and washed my hair and they're still on - lol. Cleansing oil will be fine or micellar water.

I love the idea of eyeshadow sticks, but most never dry down and the wear time is only a few hours, so these interest me. I'm more drawn to the Victoria Beckham only because I tend to like her products better, but to be fair, I have not tried any eye product from Hourglass. I love the ease of these sticks.

You should try both brands - the colors on the VB site are more true than the colors on the HG site, but they both perform the same.

On the hand swatches, it looks like, to me, they mixed up the descriptions for Equinox and Solstice? Thanks for this video - I love cream eyeshadow, especially in stick form. 😊👍

No, it was me! The Solstice is their version of bronze and Equinox is their version of taupe - but it's not really taupe.

One reviewer said the HG emphasises texture on the eyes. I didn't notice or hear this in any other reviews but it concerns me. I prefer the HG shimmer options over the VB

I didn't feel that it did that - but I do feel the pigmentation is lighter than VB - maybe better suited for everyday - while the colors I selected in the VB can be used for day, I think they'd be beautiful at night.

I find the Bobbi Brown don't always dry down - some of the color stick a bit - so on my hooded lids, it's a bit annoying I can feel the skin pulling when I blink. not all the colors.
