As a language instructor I found the scene of the green's high council meeting fascinating. The subtle dynamic of Aemon speaking high Valyrian fluently whereas his older bro. King Aemon spoke broken high Valyrian. To me, it demonstrates again knowledge is power, here with language fluency. Unusual thing to comment on perhaps but I found that language dynamic fascinating.

Admittedly I bawled throughout all the dragon fighting, all of it because as glorious as it was to watch it just made me so sad. I really hate fighting and war. That last look Meleys gives Auntie Rhae Rhae like,"It was an honor flying with you" just hits me in the feels.😢

That look back was one of the saddest moments in all of the GOT universe for me. I crumbled Sunday night watching it. Meleys wanted to find comfort in his last breaths as did my girl Rhaenys. They had a beautiful bond

Rhaenys and Meleys were warriors and they died an honorable death. You can't ask for much more in this universe. I cried when they died. RIP to the red queen and the queen who should have been.

The concoction that Alys gave Daemon was Weirwood sap, it's what Bran consumes to enhance his Greenseer powers. He drank it because he had just seen her eat some and then add hot water to it. In the books, it is said that she appears younger than she really is, but according to the showrunner, Ryan Condel, she is 400 years old.

Team Black made a critical error. By sending Daemond away. He is the experienced one in battle as is his dragon. They also should have never faced Vaeghar 1V1z I would have continued to try and kill Aemond perhaps at the whore house. Surely the white worm has contacts there.

That Dragon battle was Crazy!! Rolling, Biting, swooping, Vhagar snatching up other dragons mid-air... Fire everywhere!! o.o wow...

This episode was awesome but also sad 😢, R.I.P. to Rheanys and Meleys, I hope Sunfyre will ne ok bcuz he didn’t asked for any of this mess that Aegon got him into, pluck Aegon I hope he’s 💀 or if not 💀 at least badly hurt with his dumb ass. Every time I see the look between Rheanys and Meleys my heart breaks bcuz they both knew this was it, they was going out fighting and the look at the end tearjerker, I don’t hate or blame Vhagar she’s just going by Aemond’s emotions so I blame him 100%. I hope he dies a horrible death also.

To be fair the witch Alys said that Daemon would die at Harrenhall but she never said when tho. So that doesn't mean Daemon won't be leaving that place. I felt so bad for the dragons, Rhaenys and even Aegon. Aegon was driven by Allicent to prove himself after he actually asked her for advice. She's such an awful mother she made Aegon King without ever guiding him and raising him to be a good king, instead she just expected him to be a puppet king while the greens rule, Aegon never even wanted the crown. Such a shame he was raised by the greens. Otto and Allicents were complete fools thinking the could crown Aegon then control him completely.

Aemon is, unfortunately, smarter than Rhaenyra. I still don’t understand why she sent Luc to Storm’s End without considering that the greens might be there. And in this episode, she has once again failed to think there might be a dragon waiting for her side’s dragon.

What exactly do we think will be accomplished by Rheanyra revealing what "my daddy had said"? She will get the same response Allicent got when she said Viserys changed his mind and chose Aegon. They don't want a woman for their leader. She exhibits all the reasons they don't. She seems uncomfortable in this position. She's always absent. She and her King Consort are at odds. She has offered no solutions. Who is her hand anyway? She is telling her son that Viserys said she alone must unite the Seven Kingdoms. What has she been doing all these years to accomplish that? Viserys had no idea how the prophecy will play out. She couldn't even finish that story before Daemon started buggin'.
