I love how this episode truly shows some growth with daemon I hope I'm not speaking too soon lol but u can tell he's grown and matured slot and that he truly has love for his wife . I love how even tho there not much context in this episode between them u can tell she love him as well and accepts him and his flaws . Both actors had amazing chemistry between them where alot doesn't have to be said u can just feel it

in Ep 6 at the beginning when Daemon was at dinner he was saying something to a waiter in a more intentional fashion than he would normally (I assume he would ignore them normally). I think that could relate to the murder plot you speak of w/ Laenor in Spicetown.

Based on the books, we could guess that Alicent was going to harm one of Rhaenyra's children for what happened to Aemond or Rhaenyra says something that causes Alicent to lash out. It would make sense why Rhaenyra would say "Now they see you as you are".

People are so upset about the deaths in Childbirth. Basically set in the middle ages. Little to no quality health care. Giving birth was dangerous business. It still is today. Leana chose how she wanted to die. She knew she was going to anyway. To wait for a slow lingering death was not an option for her. In her mind, if she couldn't die in battle, she chose by her own dragon.

The “subjects must fear you” line, I thought was from Daemon to Rhaenyra originally. Now I’m not sure, you saying Ser Cole makes me hear his voice now on top of Daemon’s almost. Who knows till next week tho

I think that Rhaenyra’s bloody hand is a consequence of hers and Daemon’s wedding. It was a traditional Valyrian wedding where they cut each other’s palms so they’re bonded by blood.

I suspect Rhaenyra probably ask the boys about what's happening and they told them about Rhaena bruises and how Alicent boys called them 'Strong boys'. while Rhaenyra said it was the act of treason, Daemon watching her as he knew Alicent boys were right. knowing Rhaenyra's going to be chase around by the people if she has no legitimate heir, Daemon purpose a pact but she refused because she can't just cast aside her husband or suddenly have a silver haired children after having Daemon around. Daemon probably take it as a command just like Larys, so he kill Laenor. since it's not the first time for him. he killed his wife after Viserys said 'you already wed' so he might be think as that same logic? because I've seen a video Rhaenys death staring someone in a funeral. or Laenor's bf was jealous because Laenor told him he's about to do his duty as the only heir to House Velaryon and give Rhaenyra a try? Daemon overheard them and let the fight breaks in. knowing Laenor is dying but still alive, he thought Daemon come for the rescue but instead, he killed him. then someone saw him did that so he chase the man and killed him too? then he twist the story as it was him who killed the Laenor's killer but Rhaenyra & Rhaenys didn't believed him.

Why would Viserys be at Leana's funeral? He barely knew her. And she's been out of the country for 10 years, so why are all those young kids there? They're to young to know her. I can see Rheanyra being there because Laena was her husband's sister. But that's about it. Is this just an excuse for many cast members to get together to plot and metaphorically backstab? If so. In order to continue Targ strength I wish he were strong enough to disinherit Rhaenyra, acknowledge that she spawned bastardz, and name the next in line to the throne as heir preferably chosen by the realm so as to avoid any issues! It is hardcore and a bit cruel but for that world, it would’ve saved the Dragons from extinction, saved House Targ, and saved the realm from heartache and bloodshed.

Dude, there are spoilers and then there are spoilers. Revealing that Aemond rides Vaghar was gratuitous, it takes away the surprise from anyone who hasn't read the book but is (was) looking forward to Episode 7. It's one thing to fill-in holes in the tv series with background from the book after each episode, but getting ahead of the tv show with information from the book should be a no-no.

House of the Zzz

It's a soap opera. GoT seasons 1-4 had a story arc and were leading up to a climax. Then GRRM broke that arc to be able to expand the running time, and GoT became a boring soap opera. And HotD is the same. "and then that happened. and then that happened. and then that happened." is not a STORY.
