I like him because on first glance he seems like a regular "good boy" who plays by the rules when in reality he's more similar to House than anyone else in the show. It's always funny to see the reactions of others in the show when they see Wilson do crazy stuff.

It would be quite comedic if Wilson had the remote to just close it again. Wilson can match House's pranks and intellect. We saw that at its height during Seasons 2 and 5 when he sawed House's cane halfway through so it would break during their joint walks, or when he used Amber's name to trick House into believing he is dating a former hooker.

In an office like that, the space between floors isn’t big enough (standard 8’-10’) for a solid wall to move straight up. Can only move horizontally, sliding or rotating walls that open like doors. But I guess the production went for the easiest, lifting the fake wall up in that studio.

Especially when camera and lighting rigs used to be quite bulky it was pretty much mandatory to have modular sets in case you needed to get multiple angles of the same scene.

@Joker Army there’s a theory that the overarching plot of house was that chase eventually becomes the next house (I can’t remember all the details so maybe look it up or something) so it’s cool that you noticed they even start dressing very similarly. Also, this theory was in a yt comment under a video posted by the official House, MD channel, and they hearted the comment, so that adds some credibility lol

Where did you get that nugget of information from? TV sets like that usually don't fuck around with complicated and expensive solutions like that if they can avoid them. They would make prop walls that can be easily be moved by hand before they would build an expensive motorized version like that only to get a better angle for filming. I highly doubt that this wall wasn't specifically made for that shot.

@@ChristianSandviknes I thought of that too (the door panel will be inside the upper floor's wall), but usually building's floor will have steel mesh in the concrete, really hard to hack through. So either the top floor ceiling is really high (from the ceiling board) or House hired a really good (& usually expansive) high-end engineering contractor.
