Joy you are so sweet and hilarious. I love your humour and positivity is infectious. Folk. Know that Joy is not putting down her living arrangements or principal dancer status. Know this girl works hard for anything and she is SP deeply grateful and aware at how the smallest of places to live is her castle no matter. That is why we prima friends laugh with her.

I LOVE you so much! You silly goose! I think your “meditation corner” is my favorite. Also I would really appreciate seeing your meal prep and recipes. I make whole wheat pasta with veggies and an egg bake on Sunday. I would love to know the name of the brand of your pizza dough. I know my husband and I would eat that all week.

It's a different method of ballet. She is trained in Russian ballet technique. The Royal Ballet uses the RAD method.

Second time watching this. This sense of humor makes my day! The chateau of a dancer, hahaha. The chair, which mysteriously becomes two chairs in a blink of an eye. We all need that "meditation space", for early mornings and a fire place for a person and a dog! Haaaaahahahaha! XD XD XD SO funny!!!!

Have you ever thought about college? Morgan Fairchild, a principle the the NYCB got a BS in math and economics while dancing professionally. I could see you going for an MBA or marketing major. Education major. It can be done part time on line.

How do you have the energy to dance on a low carb diet? A vegan diet is generally already low cal. How about cooking some Korean food? It is vegetable heavy, but I know it's not exactly vegan. Why not create vegan versions?

Hi Joy, It looks like you're having flicker issues in your most recent videos. This is caused by using the wrong frame rate when recording. Try switching your record settings in your camera to either 24 frames per second or 30 frames per second. I really would advise young dancers/athletes not to avoid carbs. Carbs fuel your body. Yes to all the veggies! But also carbs. Balance + variety = health + sustainability

Processed carbs are nothing but empty calories that turn into sugar in our bodies. Vegetables and fruits are filled with healthy carbs.

That's not necessarily true. Some processed carbs are fortified and contain substantial amounts of iron, which is especially important for female athletes. Dancers expend an incredible amount of energy and a diet of exclusively fruits and vegetable is very unlikely to meet their energy needs.

@fabuliz1985 - Fortified w/ iron, because all the nutrition has been removed. No one is suggesting a diet of exclusively fruits and vegetables. Dancers to be healthy must eat meat (that's the best source of iron, by the way).

It's highly variable whether or not a serving of meat has a higher iron content than, say, a serving of fortified breakfast cereal. You're not teaching me anything about nutrition. All I said was that dancers should eat a balanced diet and not restrict or eliminate food groups.

James people in South Korea tend to live in small apartments like that. And a lot of people are still finding their feet at 24
