@@Kermit_T_Frog They didn't make the playoffs last year, and this year they are 4 seed and could have one this series if it wasn't for the impressive play from Jalen Brunson's and the Knicks.

It wasn't Brunson over Mitchell. Brunson was a free agent signing. Spida would have gotten traded for RJ, Obi, IQ, and some draft picks if I remember correctly. Which would have been similar to the Melo trade all over again losing depth.

@@OK-ce8cn I agree with you . As a knicks fan I honestly was not for the Melo trade then or the idea of the Spida trade now. Felton, Gallinari and Chandler were good players to work off of and I think they would have meshed a little better with Jeremy Lin's playstyle back then as well as with Tyson Chandler and STAT coming in I feel they would have been a way better team overall. Melo plays similar to Julius being ISO heavy and little to no ball movement. The only difference is Julius plays better defense, a better rebounder and actually passes more often (NOW/recently). If Spida would have went to the Knicks, we would have lost a really good bench (not to say that McBride, Grimes, Sims and Hartenstein aren't good because they are) plus we would have 2 ball dominant players in Spida and Julius. That's just my take though.
