Jalen Brunson IS a superstar, and he’s getting better each year with us. He’s 4th in scoring right now, how wouldn’t he be a superstar?
@cptsonicbelmont
@cptsonicbelmont Ай бұрын
I think he's understating the media bias against the Knicks. No, it's not a coordinated effort, but it's pretty obvious that in the casual fan's eyes (who make up most of the NBA's fanbase), the Knicks are still the team to laugh at. It takes a very long time to change that reputation - it took championships and multiple finals appearance for teams like Golden State to be taken seriously. Also, Brunson is an amazing basketball player, but his game isn't "sexy", for lack of a better term. He doesn't play for highlights, he's gritty, tough, and hardworking. No disrespect to other superstars, but he plays for his team first and foremost.

I get you, but besides being an amazing scorer, he isnt a flashy, athletic freak, dunkin player as well as exotic or cocky and extroverted as hell as others like a Lebron, Giannis, Anthony Edwards, Luka or Jokic. But he'll get his probs in future, if he plays the way he plays now, love this guy as well!

Hart trade reminds me of Denver taking A.Gordon. No matter how talented and good offensive options you have, you need those "dogs" who will run&bite on both sides of the court, they are also pumping some dopamine into your other players and whole team plays better. Credit to Leon Rose and staff for being patient and not making panic mode moves these last few years. Knicks have now become relevant in the league and are getting noticed. Good signing of Brunson and building around him with nova buddies, traded OG for defense, Achiuwar fits in nicely, Bogdanovic provides bench presence and Hartenstein signing before all this and filled in nicely when Robinson was injured and now is starting at 5 spot for NYKs

I remember an episode of Get Up where Richard Jefferson and Jalen Rose were consoling Stephen A. about the Knicks missing out on Kyrie and KD. They recommended that the Knicks faithful should be patient and for the Knicks to be wise on picking up players and not going for superstars every free agency. Knicks built their team up slowly, got players that get along mentally instead of trying to build superteams, and did not let the criticism get to their heads.

I think the one factor you disregarded about the Knicks losing the series against the Hawks was that Mitch Robinson was injured and would have been a big factor in the paint to counter Clint Capela. You see a huge difference when he is healthy.

Jalen Brunson IS that superstar. Great video, but the disrespect to Brunson at the end is crazy. He is arguably top 5 in the league right now.

Ive always rooted for my Knicks good or bad theres just something magical about them. We dont make a run often but when we do there nothing like it. Being from Texas living in Dallas I love reminding them of the mistake they made by giving us the true MVP. Luka could never.

It took the Knicks 20 fucking long, damning, miserable years, but the old saying still stands "You can only be bad for so long"

You did a GREAT job on this! We are doing this without Randle. While his inside presence and scoring would have made us more formidable against a healthier Embid, his terrible handle and turnover proclivity was a clear liability. It seemed when OG showed up, Randle realized he didnt have to do everything. Interesting to see if Rose moves him without losing the positives he brings. Also, kudos to Rose who definitely had some missteps on his rode to being a bonafide GM guru, with the help of being on the right side of luck and ruthless opportunism (diplomatically speaking). Again great job from you. Was not expecting such comprehensive clarity from an independent youtuber.

Brunson definitely ALREADY IS a superstar, Top 5 scorer this yr and Idk the exact stat but he has a lot more 40+ pt games than other NBA All Stars…
