Houthis Show Off New Sea Drone ‘Toofan 1’, Blasts Near Ship As US Carrier Eisenhower Leaves Red Sea

Күн бұрынThe Yemeni group released videos showing the Toofan-1 USV targeting a ship during a recent demonstration in undisclosed Yemeni waters. The armed group claimed the Toofan-1 USV was developed using local expertise and is highly agile on the water’s surface
The overall size of the Toofan-1 indicates a craft that’s notably smaller than many other Houthi USVs.
The smaller size makes it faster, more agile, and tougher to engage, while the size of the explosion indicates a very powerful warhead.
The self-produced USV is likely to have been used to attack the Tutor bulk carrier on June 12.

There were rumors it was actually damaged from an attack, it had to come to Saudi for repairs. But the captain keeps denying and and keeps saying it was just to resupply. Even though the can do RAS lol. Wouldn't be surprised if it was, from the looks of it, they might have been caught off guard with the drones and somehow have taken a hit, It could be something minor but definitely a hit. There were videos floating around of a navy ship being hit like 2 weeks ago. Back when we were deployed in 2019, the Ike was the one who replaced us and we didn't have to leave before they arrived. So kinda weird why they would leave first then wait for 2 weeks for the Roosevelt to arrive and have no carrier there.

Produce an image or video showing otherwise. The only rumors were from the Houthi, who have claimed a hit with every missile they launched. 😆 If you ever served a day, you would know that the carrier would never be caught "off guard"; every ship in the group is only there for the protection of the carrier; that is their entire reason for existing. I made 2 1/2 cruises and you never saw the replacement, you are leaving as the other comes out, they are never going to have 2 battle groups side by side. A hit on a carrier is the ultimate prize for our enemies; if there was a hit, Russia, China, and Iran would be sending the images worldwide; they all have satellites watching the carrier group.
