This video takes us to Illgau, a small village nestled in the mountains of central Switzerland in the canton of Schwyz, with about 780 inhabitants. There, we meet one of the very few zither makers in Switzerland, Fredy Heinzer. He provides detailed information on how this wonderful instrument is built, from the basic material to the finished product. We learn a lot about his secrets and extraordinary skill in handling wood, and why these unique instruments sound so brilliant.
Of course, the video features music, and at the end, we hear two formations from Unterägeri Canton Zug. Finally, the video showcases some magnificent aerial views of Illgau, surrounded by mountains and forests.
This video has three premieres. Firstly, it's the first time I'm publishing a full feature documentary. Secondly, it's in 4K resolution, and thirdly, it features Swiss German in pure Muotathal dialect as the leading language. To aid understanding, edited subtitles are available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, and Russian.
I hope you enjoy watching this video.
Yours sincerely,
Alain Hospenthal

Why are you so proud? Switzerland is base to some if the most evil people and institutions in the world: Davos WEF, Bilderberg, BIS etc. You could stop the evil but you don't and instead want people believe you're simple folk making handmade children's toys. Evil people 👿!

I JUST BOUGHT ME A SIX CHORD, DOUBLE STRING. WELL I WENT I N HUFFING AND A PUFFING. WAITED TO SEE HOW MY WIFE WAS GOING TO RESPOND. SHE LOOKED WORRIED. SHE SAID ARE YOU ALL RIGHT? TOLD HER, I NEEDED TO TALK TO HER, ABOUT SOMETHING. HUFFED AND PUFFED S OME MORE. SHE WAS AT ATTENTION. THEN I SAID I NEED TO BUY ME A HARLEY DAVIDDON MOTORCYCLE. I THOUGHT SHE WAS GOING TO PASS OUT. THEN I SAID, NO, I JUST NEED TO GO TO HOME DEPOT AND BUY ME A FEW TOOLS. SHE LET OUT A BIG SIGH. OH, YEAH. OH, YEAH. THATS NO PROBLEM. SHE SAID WHAT ELSE YOU NEED. I SAID A ZITHER. SHE WHAT IS THAT. SO I SHOWED HER. S HE SAID, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THAT? I SAID GO TO THE RETIREMENT CENTERS AROUND AND PLAY SONGS. SHE SAID, THATS MUCH SAFER THAN RIDING A HARLEY AROUND. I EXPECT YOU WILL BE AROUND A LOT LONGER , NOW.
