They also do things to deliberately drive you away. If we all had appropriate love and respect for our selves, we wouldn't be devastated by what anyone does to us. Yes, it hurtful, but we all have issues of our own. Try to remember someone else's issues are not always about you at all. Take the positive things you get from all relationships and let their issues be about theirs. You are only responsible for your thoughts , reactions, and issues. Let everyone else have theirs and don't take personal. Not every thing is about you. Exactly RC. Love what you say to help women be the best versions of themselves. Thank you so very much. Amen

My ex said he didn't want me over the phone. I walked away quietly. Recently a family member said "you didn't marry him because you didn't want to". That got me so confused, like I didn't do enough. I just realised that in the world that we live in, a woman is expected to beg and keep begging a man who walks away, even if he doesn't want her anymore. That's more cultural than actual societal. When you at someone's house and it's time to leave we leave. We don't say no and sit back on the couch. Then that brings resentment. Never stay where you are unwanted. Sounds like the family member sd you did do everything you could and when YOU married, you did mean it. The other person did not or changed how they felt. Yep! After a year of commitment and what I thought was him being exclusive to me I realized it was all a lie even though he’d talked of marriage , claimed he wanted to marry me, we met and spent holidays and special occasions with both our families-he was investing in me, doing things around the house for me, giving me money, paying for my yard service, surprising me with gifts but then there was a 3 month period when he didn’t visit me-we only communicated by text and barely talked. Didn’t spend our birthdays together but you come visit me in October when I asked to come to LA to attend my uncle’s funeral. You left quickly a day 1/2 later saying love don’t pay bills when I was trying to see when you were coming back. Hmm. Ok, but you just pulled up in your new purple dodge challenger! Lol alright Bruh go head! We texted for a couple of days after he left my house with him saying good morning to me the next day very cheery. Then I responded but then there was no answer back. The next day went by and I texted to ask if he’d received my reply he said he was just now getting his replies late and was upset that it appeared that something was wrong with his phone. Hmm ok. Two more days went by and nothing from him. I reached out to check on how his day was going-no reply. So I thought ok he was having issues with the phone and he’s been a pretty trustworthy guy when issues arise so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and gave it one last try and called him this time-it had been four hours since my last text-I left a voicemail to call me. Nothing again. That was it for me I was done. After a year and being all in I’m good. You don’t get any other time to tell me you don’t want me. I changed my no and got a new phone and we good bruh, do you✌🏽

A young man told me that once when I was 17 years young & as my mother taught me, I replied with “Thank you, I appreciate your honesty, I respect your choice.” I didn’t know at the at the time the weapon my mother equipped me with but it changed my life forever because he had a reversed reaction to what I initially thought would happen. I later learned that I could never tell another man that unless I wanted him to eat his heartbreaking words & take me back instantly afterwards, chase, stalk & wait outside my job everyday for months until I put a restraining order on him. My mother said “yep still works like a charm.” 😅Um yeah true story🤦🏽‍♀️

I received sooo many warnings that my relationship wasn't working so when my ex finally walked away from me, as excruciating as it was, I let him go 😪. Any man that just walks away from a relationship as easily as my ex did was not wholly invested in it anyway. I realised that he did not have my back and that door really had to be closed and stay closed. I'm getting myself ready to receive my King soon 🙏🏽❤

Don't let a man tell you more than once he doesn't want you! Some people want you to beg them too stay. I know she is hurting and in shock, but she will get over him. This her time to self reflect and learn from her mistakes. Don't beat herself up over it. Learn from it, heal and move on! Women got to be okay with not having a man! It is better to be alone, than with someone who doesn't want you! Say ok, and leave. Never look back! Queens don't do that!

If e tells you he doesn't want you he won't treat you right. If he does lie and act like he care about you, it's only to use and use, abuse, missuse refuse, and leave you confused. Is he worth that and more importantly do you deserve that?. After all he warned you up front. It's up to you to not go through with this. Never put yourself in a position to be hurt by anyone. They couldn't care less and you will regret it.

That is a needed message! I love how you nail it in just some seconds. But maybe you could do also a bigger lesson on this. The rejection sometimes brings up a lot of chaos and different emotions we have to work on. The response to a man who doesnt want a woman is clear - but how to handle this emotions on the inside and how to get resilient to that might be a task for a lot of women. The older you get the wiser you get. Never give a man a chance to tell you twice he doesn't want you. Next time he tell you he probably gonna tare down your self esteem and try to destroy you. Never give him that much power and control over you MOVE ON.

After that statement he loses the privileges of ever seeing you or speaking to you again. Give them what they want. When they call. text back. They don't get any attention and they are no longer someone in your life. Never, ever see or speak with them. They will use you if you give them any attention.

Men send messages that say I’m just not that into you. Don’t try to change them. Once you get that message it’s time to move on. I rarely date a man over 3 months. If I stumble upon a dealbreaker then I cut the dating off. If I date for a year and no proposal, I stop seeing him. I find out if they have a reason for dating and what that reason is before dating. If you’re young and marriage minded you should be dating men who are marriage minded.
