Hi! I'm Hann! I'm an aspiring artist and a learning 2D animation student who is in love with Avatar: The Last Airbender ever since it was released in my country. I want to be able to bring life to untold or unseen stories within the Avatar-verse in the form of animation like these!

It's simple yet beautiful! It's such a shame Legend of Korra doesn't touch upon what their relationship looked like and how it unfolded, instead leaving Aang, the MAIN CHARACTER, to die off screen and be relegated to a cameo appearance like Roku was in the original series. Sokka, the other deuteragonist alongside Katara, on the other hand was completely forgotten and had a total number of voice lines countable on hand. I just hope in the future we get an installment that details what life was like immediately following Aang's defeat of Ozai at the conclusion of the original series.

Exactly! 😢 I don't exactly know why the writers decided to do this.. we got the love triangle storyline instead (and the probending could be cut short too tbh!) That's why i wanted to start this channel to give life and visualize these stories for us the fans of the show who could only just imagine it in our heads, haha! Thank you so much for watching! @@theendlessdaydream6442 Oh I wasn't imagining this showing on the first ever scene of the show! I think a flashback episode like the one we got on The Avatar and The Fire Lord with Avatar Roku would be nice! An episode that correlates with the plot and how it will help Korra, maybe something like Out of The Past in Book 1 Air! Like how we found out Avatar Roku's ties to Sozin and the war, I wished we could've seen one with more Aang in it! 🙏

Toph felt that. She felt his fading breath. And when toph met Korra she said "Nice to meet you again...Twinkle toes" And in atla she said this kind of sad like "Do you really think friendships can transcend lifetimes?" And it did 💜

My god, when he said “thank you for penguin sledding with me” and we saw the years on his face roll back to that innocent look we know and love.. I’m sitting here getting emotional, I can’t even imagine how much Katara would have cried. These two loved each other so much, and even with his final breath, Aang was trying to comfort Katara. That’s true love right there.

It's so heart touching and emotional, I can't even explain specially when aang's line "thank you for penguin sledding with me" was soo sad, how fool can the writers be that they just ignored that what happen after the series they directly went into The next Avatar Korra, not even completing the story of Aang, there should be more to know...... Need not to say but you are really a great artist to complete his last breath........

I generally *do not care* about what people think; I love Kataang. With that out of the way, this is a masterpiece. If I somehow had the energy to make it I would consider it a tribute. I can't describe how much I love it. On a related note I can't imagine how sad the Gaang was.

At first, I personally found it a bit weird, since Katara treated Aang like a brother, but I learned to accept it. My first ever ship in the show was Katara and the earthbender guy though. I think his name was Haku. Edit: It's Haru.

@@GenericDanKatara doesn’t treat Aang like a brother though. She has a brother, Sokka - and she treats Sokka much differently than she treats Aang. People assume she treats Aang like a brother because she’s caring and protective of him when in reality that’s just her nature. Since you mentioned that your first ship ever was Haru and Katara (who is considered her unofficial crush) here’s similarities in how she acts around Haru & Aang: - blushes when they compliment her - encourages them to do their best - hugs and touches them (Aang much more than Haru) - doesn’t really pick fights with them or tease them like she does with Sokka. If Aang was older, taller, and had hair, people would have a much easier time accepting him as her love interest, I bet.

@@hanntheavatartist but the events of book 2 was key in the Air nation being brought back, if it wasn't for what Korra did during Harmonic convergence then Aang's people would stay dead with the only airbenders left being his son Tenzin and his grandkids Jinora, Ikki, Meelo and Rohan

@@hanntheavatartist but restoring his culture is something Aang wanted as technically it is kind of his own fault for the genocide of the air nation to begin with, as he did run away upon discovering that he was the avatar. It's debatable if Aang would of been able to stop Sozin and the fire nation army from wiping out the Air nomads if Aang had stayed or if he would have been killed along with them. In that second scenario what was Sozin going to do next wipe out both the southern and northern water tribes. Because the whole reason why Sozin went after the air nomads is because he knew that the next Avatar after Roku would be born an airbender. So if Aang had stayed and died in that second scenario Sozin probably would have targeted the water tribes next as the next Avatar after Aang would be a waterbender.

@@hanntheavatartist My HC is that if Aang was never frozen in the first place, he would've buddied up with Kuzon and Bumi as Team Avatar and died during or close to the end of the 100 year war, leaving Katara to be born as the waterbender Avatar succeeding him (and not Korra). I think that would be interesting to see because we would finally see a non-only child Avatar because Katara would have Sokka.
