Toriyama's reach was insane. Just in youtube I've gotten health and fitness, animation, art, music, fasion, gaming, and tabletop gaming having all had Toriyama tributes. He is missed.

Toriyama’s influence and reach, was greater than he realized. I remember first seeing Dragon Ball and DBZ back in 97, and then coming back to in 98. After that I was hooked and remained a fan for years after. When he passed, it blew me away just how many people actually followed his work. That just shows how honored and respected he was. Whether it was the hardcore otakus and comic nerds or the casuals. People around the world respected him! 🙏🏽🔥

Toriyama-Sensei created life-changing art. He is the perfect example of how art can change the world. I will always be deeply grateful for his work and its deep influence on my life. Rest in peace, Sensei.

I remember being the only kid in my class who watched DBZ, back in the 90s. Toonami put me on. Been a fan ever since.

As a kid, I remember Dragonball Z being such a huge deal. We would race to our friend's house who had cable and watch it for hours. We'd even search it out on VHS from the library of all places. My favorite DBZ fashion contribution is the adidas collab, specifically the vageta pair.

Akira Toriyama is my main inspiration when I was a kid for doing art, and I believe other kids as well, and his works inspired many mangakas. Not only that, his works especially Dragon Ball also one of the thing that motivated me to workout, and I believe it the same for others as well. Thank you for everything that you had done. Even for now, I refuse to accept Dragon Ball animes or mangas as part of Dragon Ball universe unless it's written by him, because I'm Dragon Ball nerd. But now he's gone.. no more all that. I hope Dragon Ball from now on will be go on and will be continued by them who is passionate and understands Akira Toriyama's style and keep his legacy lives on for hundreds of years.

It was actually Funimation that had the rights to DB all along since 1995. Saban was just a partner to get them the channels.

This was great video. I’ve never thought about how much Toriyama’s work has influenced and shaped the world we live in today. Hopefully we all can do the same, big or small in our own ways. Ngl I kind of want a POSTBOY shirt now. Thank you Toriyama-San, and thank you @reggiecasual!

As a Muay Thai fighter/Martial Artist, I'm admittedly still an overgrown child cause i remember the first thing id think about when I utilised technique is having cheeky thoughts of thinking of myself as a Z fighter lol. I do love how you bridge how the interest in Dragonball, helped kickstart an interest in Japanese culture - which, if we're coming in full circle led me to your videos on Japanese fashion due to my interest in Yohji, Jun Takahashi, etc. Funny enough i do tend to imitate Trunks' style to this day - baggy and/or Hakama style pants blousee in boots paired with cropped (at waist) jackets. So thank you, Toriyama for inspiring how i lived a life of discipline and adventure - and thank you, Reggie for being a wealth of information for Japanese style and social customs that relate to said styles. You've influenced a big part of my style aoproach/philosophy through the years. P.S. - thanks for putting me on Shinya Kozuka and not buying that shirt 🫡😂

Toriyama is the goat, he has influenced a lot of other manga artists and anime period. I watched dragon ball, Dragon ball Z and dragon ball super. Dragon ball was one of the first anime’s that I watched as a kid. He would be missed dearly. 💔❤

Dragon Ball Zed?
@THECASUALco3 ай бұрын
The official name in Japanese is ドラゴンボールゼット (Do-ra-gon Boo-Ru-Ze-to). In honor of Toriyama-San it was decided to use the Japanese name but with the English pronunciation of “Zed” which is UK English equivalent of the American “Z”.
