This whole portal storm thing always give me a feeling of a fever dream. Everything is so messed up when it happens, like random monsters, or even like the sunlight just disappear. I usually just stay underground and wait for it to pass, never realized there is this dungeon thing...

It is a recent addition. They have changed it recently since adding the dungeuon. Originally it just spawned enemies.

The monsters aren't dangerous to your health, they touch you and directly stack a day's fatigue onto you. I didn't know the entrance portal let me back out and did like 10 levels, only got 1 reward and more than a week worth of passing out.

Yeah it is supposed to give better loot if you stay in, but it almost always is the same. I like hanging around outside and finding humans from other dimensions.

This is one of my favourite newer features of CDDA, it certainly brings more to the horror of the game.

Totally agree. I love the dialogue the portal says to you. Not sure about how to reliably get the escape stone. something online hinted at a creature morphing into the object. Do you need to leave with a critter next to you? Next experiment I guess.

@@Orange01gaming I usually get the stat increasing statuses instead of the actual items like the escape stone, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong.

@@Orange01gaming Nope, not yet, the most common thing I get is the Weakened Inertia effect.

sometimes it doesn't drop shizz and just gives you ass debuffs in exchange for extra points in you dex, int, strength, or perception in the form of effects. just got 6 extra on perception in exchange for increased grav

Devs also changed it recently. I heard that killing the enemies inside drops artifacts.

hi! can you explain, how to activate elevator in lab? I was surprised when you went down in the video

Yes, there is a console or controls right by that you can activate, which will raise or lower that platform. It is on the platform. Does that make sense?

@@reddus721 Just try to give them power. I think you can connect the vehicle power grid into the wall wiring, and then connect the elevator
