Most people forget because in point of fact he was pretty 1 dimensional and a total bell-end (and still is) So people forget he was decent for a short period. ANd that's not People's fault mate. That's Haye's fault. He made himself forgettable. No one is interested in a tosser like him.

It's like you said David Haye had an Iconic career. This guy was a two-division, two-time, world champion, holding 4-titles, including being a unified 3-belt ( WBA, WBC, and WBO) and Ring Magazine Cruiserweight Champion. I only count two legit losses on his record. Haye was injured in both Bellew fights which ended his career. Haye just could not stay healthy at the end. The guy had a great career and only tied with Holyfield and Usyk for being the most notable Cruiserweight Champion ever. People tend not to give Haye credit because of his mouth but that's just not fair. Respect to Mr. Haye

Love seeing a fighter with Haye's combination of speed and power, but always wondered if his insane power was his downfall. Maybe he'd have been more committed to developing his all round game if he didn't hit quite as hard? When Klitschko knew how to stop him landing that monster straight right hand, he didn't seem to be able to implement, or perhaps even to have, a plan B.

Watch Haye's fights against Valuev and Fragomeni. He knew when it's time to box, and knew how to box. The guy was incredibly versatile. The truth is, Wlad had an answer for everything Haye wanted to do, and those overhands were the only thing left for him

Well what can anyone really do if the ref allows klitshcko to hold as much as he did. Klitshcko was nicknamed as Clinchko. Whenever Klitshcko didn't fight in Germany or any European country and fought somewhere like in America where the ref took points and gave warnings for the excessive clinching, klitshcko didn't know what to do at all. E.g. The samuel peters fight and the Bryant Jennings fight

Great to see a very underrated fighter get some credit. One of the great cruiserweights, and deserves a lot of credit for becoming a heavyweight champion when naturally a little leaner than most heavyweights. Doubly so for facing a real life armoured giant. He was a true prize fighter too, a guy who wanted to test himself against others. A really good boxer who earned himself a great career.

Good video but Hayes’s debut was in 2002 and the Valuev fight was in 2009 and not 2011 and you forgot two crucial fights in his career in particular and those being the Carl Thompson fight in 2004 even though it was a loss it was still significant! And also the Fragomeni fight too in 2006. His first heavyweight fight against Bonin and his second against Barrett also should have been on here and even the s**t show Harrison fight. Ignore the two 2016 fights sure but even the two Bellew fights should have featured and definitely the 2011 mega fight between him and Klitschko even if those were losses they were still big fights and significant to Haye’s career. Good vid though.

Think Haye would win tbh. Fury has a history of getting knocked down/being wobbled, as shown when Cunningham knocked him down. Imagine close to Wilders power but twice as fast and throws in combinations. I don't think Fury's height would be enough to save him, and although he can be elusive that won't necessarily work against someone with Hayes speed.

Older Haye has become somewhat of a meme due to his big mouth, its easy to forget what a force he was in his prime. His power wasn't too far off someone like wilder, it was absolutely devastating but as a result he didn't have to load up on shots, he could pick his opponents off with speed and accuracy yet still hit like a truck.
