Hard hitter and full of class. He did the sport proud and his fans.

I know this will be an unpopular take, but I am positive that Tyson Fury will be looked at as far more beatable than people view him today. He has pretty good head movement and cardio for a man his size, but throws slapping punches and gets his feet tangled up frequently. Also has pretty slow combinations and his jab isn’t very effective as a stick.

Watching this reminds me of how Dokes threw that 1-2 like a light middleweight

Jackson, in my opinion, was the most exciting boxer of this era and that includes Mike Tyson. His knockouts were devastating! I remember watching him KO Terry Norris like it was yesterday. Norris was an incredibly skilled and fast fighter and Jackson rocked him.

He’s probably the smartest and most technical heavy weight of all time, and don’t get me wrong he also has strength and speed to back it up.

Hearns being put in "B" is the worst mistake in this list. His freakish, electrifying power was greater than many of those placed above him, including Tyson's. Mike, who loved Hearns, would agree.

Ron Lyle : 31KO out of 43 wins and 51 total fights George Foreman about Lyle : "No one, beyond Sonny Liston, ever stood up to me. Everybody would have to run, hide, cover-up . . . no one stood up to me. But Ron Lyle decided, 'I ain't run.' And he hit me so hard it didn't even hurt. There I was on the canvas thinking, 'What excuse are you gonna have now?' I had to get up. But when I got up, he knocked me down again. He beat me so bad, after while he fainted . . . and I won the fight. That was most memorable fight, 'cause I kept thinking, 'Why am I here?'" Earnie Shavers about Lyle : "Nobody ever hit me that hard. No question about it. I'll remember that punch on my deathbed. Ron Lyle was a great puncher. Tremendous puncher, great guy, good-hearted guy. We became very good friends over the years." you missed out on a ATG puncher, Ron Lyle.

Love this guy!!!...everything about this boxer screams HEART. I AM a huge fight fan and we would have fight night parties in my home during the 90s. HBO ,SHO and the illegal cable boxes that got all the boxing events. From Delahoya, Tyson, Costa tsyzhu, Moseley, Trinidad. Diego corales , etc but I wish I new of him. What a shame. Promotion has a whole lot to do with this sport . Damm what a great ko artist and man

Everyone always saying Shavers was the hardest puncher, but somehow there are barely any one punch knockouts recorded by him. Unlike with George Foreman for example
