How BAD are Forward Controls On A Dyna?!

I recently Installed a set of V-Factor Forward Controls on the ladies dyna, so how bad is it going from mids to forwards on a Dyna? Does it suck to ride now? Today we find out my thoughts.

Rubbing was the reason I switched to mids on my sporty. Kept the old pegs for longer rides.

She's not as an aggressive rider as I am, the floorboards on the glide have worn sides from kissing the road. She had a problem with the mids, she couldn't get her short little legs flat on the ground. The sad part is, the fwds are actually to far ahead for her, and she needs mid forwards to feel comfortable she said. Thanks for the comment, I like hearing about other people's experience, thanks

This was an aftermarket kit I actually went and picked up @ dennis kirk. This is almost a direct copy of the harley kits ive seen, except they had to change a few things to not get sued by the mothership lol

It really all depends on what you want the bike for. Touring, yes. Stunting / Wheelies, No

Forward controls need 2" spacers on a Dyna for comfort or you'll be forcing your legs in around the air filter cover. Don't blame the bike for your lack of research and common sense

If that's the case, why wouldn't the spacers be built into the forward controls....... or come in the kit? These are almost a direct copy of the factory forward controls for a dyna..... Next, if it wasnt for her requesting forwards, it should have stayed mids....it's a dyna. Thanks for the comment! I appreciate it!
