Peristeen is amazing. Ask your bladder and bowel nurse, or contact Coloplast.

A good GP. Do they exist? Overpaid quacks are all I have experienced. Tried Peristeen, doesn't work for me so still trapped in hell. Since the 'continence team' saw it didn't work, they just ignore me now. All the promises of the Peristeen being the answer and it wasn't. Its been years of bladder and bowel issues. I get told tospeak to my 'specialist' nurse, who says she doesn't know. It's so wrong.

Sorry to hear you are having such issues. I hope life has gotten better. Learning to accept that all things can not be fixed and how to find other solutions to cope with I take a fist full of pills 3 times a day I do not trust a fart I use NorthShore diapers and I actually take a dose of Miralx same time every evening to help set me on schedule. Most the tie I poop as soon as I get up but unfortantily sometimes I poop before I get up too. I also take linzess for my colon. The Idea is to get the bladder onto a predictable schedule But some people IBS along with MS or chron's make it really hard to get regulars. Now I was having bladder incontinence for years before my bowel decided it hates me too. But if bowel incontinence was my only real concern and it happens once a day or more I would 100% consider a ostomy instead. My fife about 24 years ago had rectal cancer and her Life was hell dealing with. She had her ostomy placed at 23 and no looking back. Her ostomy is so much easier than dealing with the mess my fecal IC gives me. But My bladder is crap so I am in diapers either way you look at it! So I am just going to live with . Head up! there are doctors who care and life is what you make it!
