This movie isn't about "look pretty and you'll go far", it's about becoming the best and most confident you that you can be. I love this movie, I was about 15 when it came out so the humor hits well with me, I still love the clothes and makeup, that soundtrack just slaps, too. I own it on DVD and the reason its great, you likely like Adam Sandler too, because it is in fact a Happy Madison production 😀

They were not a Frat. They're house was just near the fraternity and sorority housing. They were the outcast, geeks, nerds, or dorks as the movie calls them. The story is about the same but instead of a makeover, Sydney (Amanda) shows the guys that what makes them weird or different is something to be proud of not ashamed. And it's not just the Dorks. She organized the WHOLE campus. Everyone who felt invisible, underappreciated, or forgotten. Great movie, Great message! Hope this info is helpful! By the way, Thanks for the laughs, you wonderful human being you. See you next time. Peace and Love✌️💗

1. Anna Faris is a comedic genius, and that deep voice name memorising bit KILLED me the first time I watched it, and again watching this video. 2. It's just such a bizarre movie that it feels a little bit like a fever dream? I'd forgotten about it until I saw this video on my side bar. 3. This movie kiiiiiinda gives off the vibe of Playboy"propaganda" given how much they romanticise the lifestyle when quite a few former Playboy girls have spoken out about their negative experiences with the company. And the fact that they actually got Hugh Hefner in this film certainly explains why this was the case - I doubt he'd have agreed to make an appearance if they had made any critique whatsoever about the Playboy franchise and the culture of one man commodifying women for profit and personal gain. I feel like this movie would have been a bit more palatable - especially for women viewers - if it had cast a bit more of a critical lens on Playboy (but without necessarily demonising it or the women who participate). NGL I feel like this movie would be pretty unwatchable if it weren't for Anna Faris. Pretty much every funny part in the film is based around her line delivery. If anyone else had been cast in the lead, I think the movie would have been pretty painful lol.

I saw that movie a long time ago, when I was a hormonally charged teenager, I wanted to see it just based on the if I'm not mistaken provocative trailer. Wasn't quite what I expected tho haha, but I did like the feel good nature of how they leaned on each other, learn from each other and leave their comfort zone to grow as people. My appreciation is probably astronomically shallower compared to a female viewer of the movie. My only point of reference to a "similar" type of movie was probably Man of the House starring Tommy Lee Jones

I LOVE this movie so much. I hadn't watched it in probably a few years, saw it on a streaming service and clicked so fast.

Yes, I too freak out with contacts. I have to leave the room if someone starts to put them in or mess with them.

I love this movie! I’m so glad you did a video on it :) And yes! Gloria Steinem went undercover as a playboy bunny in the 60s to expose the working conditions

I feel like a lot of stuff from the mid to late 2000s gets utterly ignored now unless it was heavily meme-ed, which considering those were my high school years I am always very confused by it 😂

oh I didn't knew that this movie was forgotten in time, or nobody talks about it. Here in Latin America everybody watched at least one time because every Sunday was in TV,,

Idk if you know, but perscription sunglasses are a thing. I have a pair, they are very handy and needed in the sun of Rio de Janeiro. Myopia and astigmatism are so nice that they bring a present with them, photophobia, a incredible, amazing, piercing pain in the eyes when the sun is out and high. I just love it so much!
