I started watching football only to watch him and Messi scoring unbelievable goals. Can't believe time passed so quickly from 19/20 yrs young talented blood to football's greatest icons at 35/37, Ronaldo and Messi have come so far so consistently. In every Fifa game from Fifa 08, 09 & 10 to my last Fifa 19 only used to take ManU and Real Madrid for CR to play. What a time it was Ronaldo in Madrid and Messi in Barca a decade ago were monsters. There a lot of great names in this game but these two are themselves are in a league far away from others. I am a hardcore CR7 fan but am blessed to live in the era of the two G.O.A.Ts CR🇵🇹 x LM🇦🇷. His WC dream was finished yesterday. Felt very sad. Want Argentina to lift the cup...one last for another Goat...Messi.

Messi fan here. To me, Messi will be esteemed as the greatest to ever do it, for a long time. However, I am really happy that CR7 played at the same time, because he is out of this world as well. It has been a blessing watching these two exceptional footballers compete directly against each other. The world cup title will help cement Messi as the best ever, though. Well written, the admiration I have for those 2 is abnormal for me. I'm not a fan of celebs but they are both so unique and inspired the next generation of footballers. The each changed the ENTIRE game in their own way, we are blessed to have 2 GOATS play at the same time. Fun fact: Barcelona was very close to signing Ronaldo before ManU did. Can you imagine!? With Messi and Ronaldo on the same team!?!?!?

Ronaldo hadn't any magic in his story, he dropped school, he hadn't strong team in start, hadn't Ronaldinho to teach him, hadn't really strong national team(he made it strong), all he had is desire and opportunities, he did it only cause his hard work and mentality, that's why he maybe not best on numbers, but the greatest for me.

Not really tho. a certain Argentinian has better scoring ratios, passing ratios, duels won ratios and a lot more. More man of the match awards, more consistent quality (cap:goal ratio). If Ronaldo played in Real... is whole career he would have way more Ballon D'or and Ucl's... it's just reality, he pushes himself and likes chalenges unlike most humans, and went ot Juventus after winning 3 Ballon D'or's, 3 UCl in a row... Who does that? He would have won 4,5,6 in a row with that super star team... But gave Messi his 7th. Messi leave to psg and was bad... Ronaldo played 10 seasons of his entire career in England and Italy. 7 in England, 3 in Italy. A lot of people will not want to admit this, but the difference in career goal tally if Ronaldo played in Spain his whole career would be extremely different. Yes he was in his prime with Madrid, but his goal tally there is simply next level. He could probably have a thousand goals by now if his whole career was in Spain.

I still believe cristiano had more impact on the game compared to messi. He rose against all odds. Not even the negativity that mostly the media try to show of him pulls him down. He travelled to different leagues and conquered all.Winning two international cups for portugal is definately a highlight for him. Portugal isnt a team that would be favourites to win the world cup if we are to be honest.(Euros & Uefa Nations league are major cups for a team like portugal. G.O.A.T
