I am an 80's kid. We blushed every where. Cheeks, nose, forehead and chin. I still do that just maybe not as much as before. I also heard a makeup artist one time say when we naturally blush its not just our cheeks but all over.

It’s so satisfying watching Emily draw her liquid liner on - her lashes are never in the way. But my lashes have a massive curl & are hugely in the way of drawing on liner & especially when applying lashes. It’s the bane of my existence lol.

Hi Emily! I totally agree that the Smashbox Cali Contour palette is a gem. It is my one and only face palette which I also use on the eyes for everyday looks. It's also available in DEEP for darker skin tones. I consider this palette a holy grail since it never disappoints. 😊

Love the smash box palette. I fell in love with the 3 pan and used it up. That I branched out to the larger palette and gah!! it’s my favorite palette! I travel with it every single time. And I use it for my eyeshadows as I travel. Just sometimes pack a single or two singles as toppers but it’s so amazing!

Some things I have rediscovered this month: my NARS Orgasm and Laguna minis, my E.L.F. Berry Bad bite-sized palette, my Essence Long-lasting eyeliner pencil in Espresso, my Revlon Rum Raisin lipstick, and my Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Moonbeam. So fun! I feel like I just went shopping.

I love that Cali Contour palette so much I just repurchased a new one. It took me about 2 years to work through my old one. The colors are perfect, the pan sizes are generous, the package is compact but sturdy, the price is reasonable for the quality. 10/10 recommend after several years of consistent use.

Great video! I have a makeup bag that I keep easy peasy no brainer items in for the days when I'm in a hurry or don't feel like choosing stuff from my collection and Warm Soul is the blush in that bag! It always delivers and looks beautiful with any eye look. I also keep the Mac sculpt & highlight palette in there because it's got under eye, setting, contour and bronze powders that can also be used as eyeshadow and brow shades. I bought that from your recommendation and I absolutely love it!!

This! Is! ABSOLUTELY! Necessary! Love that base look; I get the same scrumptious velvety finish from my BareMinerals OG Original loose mineral powders, two adjoining shades, lightly dusted on and buffed in, over tinted mineral-only sunscreen. Set the whole thing with alcohol-free setting spray on a bouncing sponge. Or with plain Rosewater spray. Really beats back the patchy, moody rosacea! Thanks for reminding us to value what we already own! And may you have a great time in the coming weeks, preparing for the holidays with your family! PS: Yes, you have demonstrated and discussed another Maybelline The City Mini eyeshadow palette fairly recently: the Skyscape Dusk (mauvy-plummy) palette, my favorite of this collection. Love it!

I remember buying the Laura Gellar primer right after you reviewed it a few yrs back. It def gave oil control which I liked but it didn’t replace my Tarte Timeless for pore blurring - which is still my HG❣️.

I LOVE my Cali Contour palette, I need to dig that out too! I’ve literally traveled with that palette, a powder foundation, mascara and tinted balm. It’s an all in 1 face and eye palette for me. Pair it with Burt’s Bees red dahlia balm and you’re done! (Maybe a hint of concealer too!)

Lovely look, Em! I am a big fan of Benefit brow products in general, but I especially love that Microfilling Pen. A rediscovery for me is the MAC Cosmetics Chili lipstick, a great wearable red! Also the L'Oreal balm in glosses, particularly #100 Mademoiselle Mauve... a beautiful medium cool mauvey plum.

I love the citi mini pallet Matt about town! I recently had to take it out of rotation since it was the only one I was using 😂😅 absolutely love it❤I hit pan on 2 shades and I’m almost at a third, so yes, it’s a love❤

A true gem is my Revlon Colorstay liquid eye pen. It doesn't budge, the tube stays juicy forever. I recently discovered they have like three kind of tips, I've only used the original, the one with the pen tip and it's fabulous! 👌 Also easier to find than the Milani one you always recommend.

I have been exclusively using Lash Paradise for years! I have strayed a couple times to lash princess but it really just doesn’t work as well as my lash paradise. I use the waterproof version because I have really itchy/watery eyes and curl challenged lashes and I love that it never makes my lashes feel hard and crunchy, they still feel soft and bendable if that makes sense 😂 good stuff!

I recently used a CoverGirl quad that gave me such a lovely, make-your- eyes-pop look. No idea if they make it anymore. It used a soft satin cream a satin silver, a charcoal and a satin antique gold, so easy enough to recreate.

Wow, it has been some years since I used the Too Faced concealer. It’s the only concealer I ever used as a foundation. I can’t remember what KZfaqr talked about using it that way. I don’t think it was you but it may have been. Makes me want to buy it again.
