One note about the comp circuits ‘making up competitions’ is that both Imagine and Believe (comps Abby mentioned) are legit, running competitions to this day. They are both part of the Star Dance Alliance so maybe the producers specifically chose those (as opposed to fully making them up) because they had already worked with many SDA comps before? Just food for thought, because I know Imagine is still running as I competed there just last month!!

It wasn’t like that in the first two seasons you would hear the mothers say oh Chloe number is 79 and Maddie is 145 but it was edited right after simply bc it wouldn’t make sense to show them dancing at different chunk of times for example Nia and Asia duet didn’t exactly dance right after Maddie it was like a 30mins after but they edited like they danced right after Maddie and Chloe solos that week

Purposely trying to stress the kids out is literally child abuse, and tampering with their costumes or not letting them have enough time to adjust them, so accidents or malfunctions were likely to happen is also abuse, like “oh yeah maybe they’re costume would fall off or maybe this would cause a fall” like geez it’s actually pervy and not to mentally extremely dangerous, an actual fully blown injury could’ve occurred. And Abby banning the guy who Maddie hugged just shows her weird obsession with her, that was clearly out of jealousy

Abby is mad the judges “played favorites” when that was ENTIRE basis of her business model😂😂 Her hypocrisy TRULY knows no bounds. Abby also had issues with production messing with competition results, but her doing it was ok. Most of us has realized the competition circuit was fake and the results were edited/faked for drama, but there are those few that INSIST they were all real and everything was legit. I only believe that the 100% real competitions are Season 1 and a few more of early season 2.....obviously production may of had influence on them. But they competed season 1, and the show premiered when they were at season 1 nationals. I think the moms know everything points out to the competitions being rigged, but they choose to care for their daughters self-steems (not public image, unlike everyone says). Imagine thinking you won a lot of things and then it turns out it was handed to you just because you were on a TV show, so you basically never won anything, wasting your youth in competitive dancing for nothing. It probably gives some psychological repercussions. The mothers know, they are just caring for everyone's psyche
