Hello, I would say for listening practice is the key. Listen as many recordings as you can and get familiarized with different accents. Also try practicing tests at lower volume because you might not have a higher volume in the real test. I would be comparatively little low than what we hear while practicing.

Hi Chris, thank you so much for your videos, IELTS ADVANTAGE is really the best out there. I have a slight problem with the listening tests I practise with on the Cambridge website. In fill in the gap/complete the sentence type question, should my answer be exactly what I hear or what tense matches the sentence? E.g I hear the word “power” but answer says “powers”? Thank you

I did a couple of practice tests and realised, that I mostly struggle with spelling the words correctly. But now I made a list with the corrected version and will hopefully be able to improve my skills :)

Your videos are so informative. They helped me great time. I got 8 on my listening and 7 on speaking. I could've done better with my reading though. I got 7 on that too. Hi, this is really helpful! Thank you for making this video. But one the problems that I faced on note completion is plural and singular nouns. Hello sir. I found your channel 3 days ago and currently, I'm checking your free and VIP courses. However, it's quite confusing that which free course should I take first. I'm pursuing ielts and my average band scores in listening and reading are 8 and 7.5 respectively( sometimes it even reaches 9 in daily tests, I'm telling you the average). On the other hand, my speaking and writing scores are stuck at 6-6.5 and 5.5-6 accordingly. Due to this reason, I have taken up speaking course. I want to ask, is there any other course that I should take first?

Chris I wanted to ask, my IELTS coach has recommended me not to practice from the Cambridge or British council resources since the original IELTS exam is much difficult than that and that I should practice more difficult reading passages. Is she right?
