How do I prove I was not served so I can attack a default judgment?

This video is only if you were NOT served but still have a judgment against you. I lay out the steps we use when clients hire us to attack judgments that are void because our client was not served.

I was never served i only received a notice in the mail i was being sued and was to appear in court or over the phone and i even mentioned to the judge that i was never properly served and she said it doesnt matter. This is Florida btw.

I was served an order to vacate property. But they had the wrong address on there. Is the order still good?

Does a creditor (local government council rates) need to advise debtor of a caveat on certificate of title of land beforehand?

I do not know. That sounds like a very state specific or even city specific rule. I would check with a property lawyer in your state/city. Best wishes John Watts

Update: I was able to get a hearing after filing a motion. OUTCOME: I lost. Even though the summons never touched my hands or eyesight, the judge dismissed my motion because my daughter was the one who signed for the summons that I never saw. Now I am really going to have to get a lawyer involved and I can't afford one. To date, they have received over $18,000. The whole deal was truly predatory lending on first-time home buyers.

You're screwed if you can't prove that you weren't in the location they claimed you were at.

What do you think about big tobacco's government funded hostile takeover of the vaping industry

Daniel, Interesting question. The vaping is apparently hurting a lot of folks. I assume it is hurting big tobacco also which means they have a lot of money to throw into lobbying. We are looking at some cases right now -- I'm not fully up to speed on the government angle. What are your thoughts on it? John

Thank I'm just trying to get the word out there I have vaped for over 5 years and my health has actually gotten better since they're people that have documented x-rays from start till now showing how they're lungs have healed
