My personal favourite.. "He killed three men in a bar with a pencil...a fucking pencil. " easily one of the best lines in the John Wick movies. My point is... A professional killer will use whatever gets the job done, sometimes they have to improvise.

Was hoping to find out how hitmen actually kill but instead what we have is weird assassination weapons, many of them almost completely impractical.
@HATECELL Жыл бұрын
How about an umbrella that is used to put a tiny wax capsule filled with ricin into the target? Or the famous "kiss of death", a lipstick that also has a poisoned needle. Whilst not a weapon, acoustic kitty is just too weird not to mention. I vaguely remember a camera that irradiates the target, but maybe that was just from a movie. Even the comparatively conventional Welrod might deserve a mention. Whilst it is famous for it's supressor and bolt-action system, it also looked weird enough that according to legend a German who searched an undercover OSS operative thaught it was a bicycle pump, and allowed them to proceed.

Or the one the Russians use with polonium. If it gets into you, you will die.

Ah the Bulgarian umbrella, I believe it was only used once in recorded instances to take out an author, the assassin used a ricin coated bullet so they would die days later
@rebelwalzt10 ай бұрын
@@trentonshowers7366It wasn't a gun firing a bullet. It was more like a syringe which had to be placed on the target and injected a pellet of ricin into intended target. Making the victim sick then dead after a few days, giving the assassin time to be many countries away.

There are many underrated weapons hitmen use, and the ones in your video are way too fancy... Screwdrivers and hammers make for good melee weapons that can be carried without creating too much attention... Garottes are still some of the best silent killers and much less messy than knives. Then on the medium end there are guns, explosives and poisons. However, snipers are really rare.

I heard of a chisel to the skull being used, but not by an assassin but an irate husband.

no mention of the poisoned umbellar that was used to kill Georgi Markov back in 1978? the tip of the umbellar was coted with ricin and when tis owner "Acidentaly" nicked Markov with it the piston was transferred in to his bloodstream and killed him over a period of 4 days . honestly this umbellar would seam more apt for the description then the Pen gun and card gun as they seem to me more like expensive novelties intended for eccentric collectors
@brittakriep293810 ай бұрын
For murdering an unprepared person, which doesn' t expect an Attack, you need much lesser equipment, than fighting a group of wellarmed and prepared wellexpierienced enemies.

Actually the first one talked about on your list is The NRS-2 (Нож Разведчика Стреляющий, "Scout Firing Knife") (official GRAU index 6P25U) is a gun hybrid with a combination of a knife blade and a built-in single-shot shooting mechanism designed to fire a 7.62×41mm SP-4 cartridge. It was developed in Russia and is still used today.
@Demonmixer9 ай бұрын
There's also a ballistic knife, which shoots the blade. I saw it on a program called Deadliest Warrior. Apparently, a Spetznaz weapon.

that pepperbox ring gun was a novelty form the 1800s. while it might have been marketed for self defense, it's anything but inconspicuous, and had comparable stopping power to an airgun. certainly ont what a hitman would choose, but a sought after collectible.

Interesting and unusual weapons. I've never entertained thoughts of being a contract killer, but my thought is a rock in a sock. Simple, effective, quiet. Why complicate things ?

The way that Kim Jung un had his brother killed was pretty insane. He had two unexpecting girls think they were on a reality show for pranks on random people, they were told to run up to the man and rub lotion on him and ‘they will tape it and it will be hilarious’ but the lotion was poisoned and Kim’s brother died within minutes.

While pocket guns of any design carry a vast popularity here in the United States, probably the most common caliber used in the 1920-1950s would be the 7.65 mm or .32 cal., most police officers will not carry smaller than a .380 act or 9mm Kurtz. While the armed forces did employ suppressed .22 pistols, this was mostly for silencing animals. To effectively discuss the effectiveness of a pocket gun is not always easy as they are a last resort weapon but just as importantly is the actual employment of the device beyond cool factor.

I have shot with a .22 pen gun and the recoil is pretty dramatic. One of the guys did hold it a bit wrong and the recoil did hurt his hand so much he dropped the pen out of pain.

I always thought the umbrella gun was pretty cool, I'm typing this without looking back into it but if I remember correctly, either a laced dart or radioactive pellet would be discharged and the suspect almost wouldn't notice it until later or symptoms started to show.

Lifecard totally has a threaded barrel adapter now!!! Put a tiny suppressor on it & paint it like a douche flute , BLAM!!! Extra double top secret!!! Love that little thing, doubt I’d ever depend my life on it ( although it does fire every time & shoot straight) but I’ll never get rid of it. Original design had a little folding blade on the barrel, tiny bayonet!!!

Not bad, I was in security for a number of years, & I looked after some very shady people, & you would not believe the amount of homegrown shit people tried to get passed us, the card gun Never once made it neither did a pen gun, they stick out a fkn mile, the best one was a WW2 British made Lipstick gun, it looked exactly like it should & had they looked after it would have got passed us, it was only that it was carried by a very classy lady & it had a Patina that just did Not fit with her. If I ever went anywhere I couldn't take a weapon, I wore rings on my fingers, this would help if it got to fighting, but I wore them so the pieces of Scalpel Blade glued under my fingernails would not set off the metal detector, I only ever needed them once & they worked just fine.

"Hit Men" vary in their respective environments, a Mafia type much more sophisticated if he is hired to pull a killing, the use more Gas Vapor techniques, sometimes Poison. A shooting type guy is usually an untrained amateur. The real deal in a true hit man have military or Government Agency training, the Moussad or KGB, even our very own Naval Operations, CIA etc. In the east there are actual schools taught by experienced assassins, China, Korea have a few; the Japanese outlawed them as did Thailand. It's a screwed up World, I asked an actual hitman, he was in a Jail that I audited, how much a "Hit" costs. He said it depended on the circumstances, anywhere from $20,000 to $250,000 in his experience. So there is your answer on what a human life is worth.

Every single one of these were a novelty. Real Assassins wouldn’t resort to such unreliable toys that fire those puny calibers with that low of a lethality. The handgun is, has been and will continue to be the weapon of choice, 9mm or higher at minimum. The sawed off is the close 2nd, followed by the humble knife (and no, not some 22lr party trick knife, but a good ol fashioned stick the pointy end in em knife), then concluding with poison or arson. While scooped rifles can and are used, they are rare so I didn’t include them, same with the umbrella gun. There, I just have made a better and more accurate list then the vid did in half the time. This is what happens when your “research” for your video just looking up what’s treading on google or Amazon.

Since the infamous umbrella keeps coming up in the comments: I know of no less than 4 incidents where an umbrella was the murder weapon! The ricin umbrella, the fancy stealth weapon. The needle umbrella, the poor man's version recently used in Germany. And twice a regular umbrella! Once in Germany (thrust the tip in the eye socket of a downed target) and USA (someone got beaten up and sodomized with it)

The life card is stupid. For the same size and weight you could carry one of the NAA mini revolvers in .22 mag, a kel tec P32 or P3AT, or a ruger LCP and all of those offer multiple shots of a more powerful round, and all except the revolver offer semiautomatic function.
