How does a HUD (Head-up display) work on a Mazda MX-30 electric vehicle?

I find most buyers of electric vehicles haven't experienced the technology you get in new cars, as they are coming from an older ICE vehicle, so I hope this video will help explain how this great bit of tech works and aids the driver.

I can't remember for sure as the car has long gone, but I doubt it will. Heads up displays normally only work with the in-built nav.
