@@thomasclare1400 No one, as far as I'm aware. but hero is a strong word. and it seems to be wasted in this case. Its like calling me a hero for managing to make my own breakfast. It may be interesting, it may be funny, entertaining, educational. it isn't heroic though. Why don't you save heroic for the person who ran into a burning building to rescue a helpless old lady, or the person who waded into treacherous flood waters to rescue stranded children. you could even apply it more legitimately to the people who carried on doing their job during the covid out break, or soldiers doing what they signed up for. or perhaps those valiant last few willing to stand up and defend the meaning of words so that when we actually get to the point of wanting to describe something with those original attributes, we actually have a word left to describe it. instead of pissing away a word like heroic on a youtuber that changes an exhaust.

I've done it time and time again, still haven't learned my lesson. I absolutely suggest getting into the habit early though, cars have your eyes in their sights and will do everything to ruin them

It's far easier to just cut the exhaust before the muffler.* It almost always sounds wicked. *may not be legal in all areas

Do run straight pipes all the way back afterwards though, otherwise it'll just sound like a massive exhaust leak under the car and you'll hate driving it

Excellent ! Well done Ethan. When I did my catback on Mia the mx5 I drove around for 2 days without it. A bit antisocial I admit but it sounded amazing 😁. Ethan my main man, you soon won't need the other muppets to work on your car... Only kidding credit where credit's due guys. Love this series. The only way to learn is by doing it and it's never too late. Mia was my mid life crisis car at 54. We've followed the same learning curve, now 3 years later I've done brakes, fuel filter, exhaust, setting timing advance, throttle body clean, plugs, solved electrical issues (pop ups no longer popping up due to dry solder joints on the relay), PAS and alternator belts, ... up till then I never dared touch my cars! The only thing I really have to do - and I'm stalling 'cos I'm bloody terrified of f*****g it up - is changing the timing belt! 2021 challenge! Looking forward to the next video on this car! You should have bought an mx5 though... PS It'd be nice if you reacted to comments from time to time. Do you read them guys?

The UK is really very relaxed on mods. I voted to stay in the EU but one thing I dislike about the EU is that its countries seem very strict on car modifications! Ed China made a sofa and a bed into fully road legal cars here!

@@ricardobarrios4159 I think in the UK its very sensible (for once!) You can do pretty much anything as long as its safe (will it hurt you or others? Will it massively hurt the environment such as leaking fuel or big clouds of smoke when you drive? If not, you are good to go!) Want to put a turbo on your Civic for example? Yes fine it just needs to pass the usual M.O.T checks (annual inspection) and we need to tell our insurance company. Thats pretty much it. I love Portugal, I’ve holidayed there as well as spent a month working there driving around the algarve. Very friendly people! Abrigado!
