kolo these aren’t your type of podcasts

I mean its just like any other broadcast, especially sports commentary. Its usually a good mix, you generally get a play by play guy, and a color commentary sort, sometimes also a comedian or other guest. Bringing it back, two Nolans on this show would be terrible I think.

That's more complicated than it sounds. Legal mumbo-jumbo. The royalties would cost more than the podcast makes. There are even companies that buy up popular images and hit people with thousand dollar fees for using them without permission. Even Joe Rogan doesn't do it. You'll notice that whenever you do see images or footage on podcasts or vlogs it's either public domain or cheap stock stuff.

@@frankcooke1692 but i do see on other podcasts that they will have photos on screen, and also they have plenty of photos and clips on the up to speed series, why can they use them on there but not here? i really dont know much about the laws but doesn't this fall under fair use?

@@argenys8 I don't know much either tbh, it could be that there are editors who are dilligent about where they source things from and seeking permissions. Or they're just winging it until someone complains. There are some corporations that don't have time to lodge frivolous copyright infringement notices and others that use it as a profit stream.

@@djreyesd Nice, I have been known over the decades for seeking out, and then robbing them old electric analog organs sitting in dusty basements, or buried under hoarder junk in garages and or, occasionally even sitting out for the grabbing on the curb sides of dystopia. Which I would wheel home on skate two boards, only if they had rotary speakers. I'd tear into chasing all the wires back to the switches and then cobble and daisy chain them all together in a hocus pocus array, and then some of those older 1960's organs occasionally might include the path to swirly tonal bliss that could almost make SRV and Hendrix rise up jealously in their graves, hidden gems in the form of elusive class A tube amps, if your lucky might be powering the donor organs...LoL...Just dont get yourselves shocked to death mining Americana for tone...8|
