A few weeks back. 5am alarm, 40 mile commute, 260ish miles at work, 40 miles home, quick refresh and refuel, then home (north Northumberland) to Rhyl, gave a Corolla to KFW, then drove the MG ZT-T that Ade had at the Gathering back home. Got back at about 4am, just under 1,000 miles in 24 hours.

I live in Manchester, bought a sprint blue fiat coupe turbo unseen of the tinterweb which was in Devon. Got a flight to Exeter my father in law who lives in Plymouth drove me the rest of the way to the car, it was winter and dark by the time I got there so I had a quick look around it and drove it home 5 hours straight, luckily never missed a beat. It was a great car that.

When I bought my Camper, we did a few local meets in it and then did 1800 miles around Europe a couple months later

I bought an Alfa 33 on eBay for £165 and drove it home from Edinburgh to London! It was fine, and by the time I got home I was used to it being LHD! :)

I flew from Heathrow to Inverness for a 323i BMW E21 and after driving for hours realised I was still in bloody Scotland. It broke down a few minutes later and the RAC eventually got me home. Weirdly the E21 cured itself the following day! I then flew to Ireland to view an E30 M3 before flying back to collect it a month or so later.

About 150 miles back to South London from Birmingham in a car I'd never actually seen move and hadn't even checked if anything on the dashboard worked. The only real issue was the indicators not turning themselves off. It's given me a whole heap of trouble since though!

:D shoutout! There is a thread on the forum where I assisted another member (crossbones) to pick up a car from Edinburgh and bring home to Somerset.. Was a LONG day.. Don't believe it was mot'd so it got trailered - Which makes Scottish lanes a different kind of fun...
