The last of these quick videos with the next video being a more in-depth guide. This was a nice break from doing guides all the time, though, and it seems to be helpful to some so I will continue to do these in future updates! :)

Extra note for clarification: The first part of Crimson Moon's passive polearm characters can proc it. The issue is the restriction on the 2nd portion. Plus, most polearms (especially 5-star ones) also give DMG bonus or other benefits, making Crimson Moon an decent pick as a pure stat stick.

arlechinno banner. this is the first time i pulled without thinking whether is it necessary for my account or not. I pulled for arle and her weapon, purely just because i like this char. not only her demeanor, moves, animation but the most attractive one for me is the SCYTHE!!! i really like thatt huuuuuge scythe

I don't wanna be mean or anything but man imagine playing her without her weapon especially the fact that her weapon is a God damn scythe and the only one in the game so yeah r1 > c1 any day

Can a C1 Hutao use it? I'm currently using blackcliff pole but I'm kind of tempted to pull for Crimon Moon Semblance just for Hutao

Hu Tao can definitely use this weapon, and compared to Blackcliff Pole it will almost always - if not always - outperform it.

You can, but Crimson Moon's Semblance is generally on-par with R5 The Catch and at most only pulls slightly ahead of it.

It's tied on the weap :< tho using other spear will give us a yellowish light that looks like a scythe which is the part where we actually cope.

The weapon's DMG Bonus works like other DMG Bonuses or, for example, abilities that say "increases DMG dealt by [X]%".

Using her without her weapon will feel like Raiden Shogun without her Naginata, pretty much incomplete. I struggled so bad when i first got Raiden Shogun because the weapon i use then (The Catch) feel so out of place on her.

But with raiden, atleast her weapon changed to sword during her on field state (musou isshin). As for arlecchino tho, you gonna feel the difference more. Especially when arlecchino is a main dps, where most of the time you'll see her weapon.

Couldn't theoretically Zhongli make his shield stronger with the BoL as his shield scales with HP?

No, BoL is its own separate mechanic that doesn't impact his shielding since his shield's additional absorption only scales with his Max HP (doesn't include BoL's value).
