What’s even more impressive is how Rodri is even able to stay fit and play 90 minutes of every single match day in premier league and champions league without having any competition. Surely this would result in burnout and injury but Rodri is always available and is putting in top notch performances week in week out despite the fact he’s playing every single minute of every single match day is crazy

@sfb4144 He hasn't been top of the league most of the season at all. Liverpool have been above City for months. And Liverpool have had far worse injury issues, plus had to rebuild the midfield. Don't expect any sympathy for having weary or injured players, look at your bench this last few games. Other teams have academy players on theirs. Pep couldn't find a way to win without Rodri which was odd but given he has the likes of KDB, Silva, Grealish, Walker etc to bring on it is slightly surprising that MC haven't been blowing teams away when teams with worse injury problems have been putting 4 or 5 goals past teams is all am saying.

Now that sounds like a hater to me , someone accomplishes so much in their career to the extent that not blowing teams away is an under par performance. You are saying that they cannot win without Rodri but you forget who was the one that made Rodri the player he is today , before he got to the club he was mediocre at best compared to how he is now , do you not think Peps coaching skills and knowledge made Rodri the player he is today ? CLEARLY NOT. As far as Liverpool using their Academy players that is their own business , who always wins the titles in the end is what really matters and on that front Guardiola is clear by 10 TROPHIES just in England alone. Regardless of net spend and getting every player you want , the style of football Guardiola produces and how he has evolved the game of football and changed the way it is played. Countless managers spend Countless amounts of money and do not get the job done but that is never the case with Guardiola. I just do not think you understand that he is the greatest manager of our generation but because of net spend and coaching Manchester city he will never get the flowers he truly deserves , Maybe one day when he retires......

When he does what Klopp did and takes teams who were 13th and 10th when he took over to major titles only then will he be rated. But he won't because he can't. Took him 7 years to win a CL at MC and half the teams who knocked them out were bang average. Made Bayern sign Klopp's best players after Klopp beat him to a title there too. Managing a club with 115 cheating charges isn't a good look either.

City have looked average this past few games. Weren't very good against Everton, Brentford, Chelsea or today. I don't think Pep is as good as other managers when his better players are missing, we saw that earlier in the season when Rodri was out and when KDB doesn't start.

Bruh he's been top of the league for most of the season with KDB, Stones, Rodri, Grealish, and Haaland all out... He also won the league in 2021/22 without even the best squad... He's doing perfectly fine without his best players considering they're a weary treble winning team that's going for 4 leagues in a row and up against energised ambition and desperate teams that are so trophy hungry. Doesn't matter if you look 'average' (actually just not the insane 10/10 standards of usual), as long as you win.

KDB was literally injured the first full half of the season and for some time that period City were top. It's just the way he's obssesed with trying new things even when there's nothing wrong with his previous formation. City would still get form and storm the league it's only just a matter of time.
