Tbh I learned walk under from VSAV, I think it was a YT vid from way later that said walk under was some secret tech in MB. In dbfz walk under is an absolute necessity so that's why I reference it haha

LK has to be the smartest player in the world. The dude is so incredibly sharp, in addition to having acute senses and the dedication of a pro. Can be the best player in the world, imo. Not many players are nearly as intelligent, analytical, etc. Such an eloquent speaker, his commentary is unparalleled. Being the best at that point is just about having the correct motivation to make it to the top.

I saw a Baiken that had insane tether combos in tournament a while back and it made me judge you as "sick but not the sickest" because yours didn't wow me the same way when you played Tatakai Tuesday. I humbly retract that shit and furthermore add: holy shit dude, your Baiken makes Baiken look like Baiken again. Like Im downloading Strive again because your Baiken was so fire dude.

@@alphachadus I've played gg since the beginning on ps1 but I never followed the scene like I do with sf. I know they're both really good. But just from the eye test and character selection. I think Lordknight is a more skilled player than Kizzie but Kizzie is still a beast. Like I would say Kizzie is Capt Toshiro as a prodigy but Lordnight would be Ichimaru Gin as a prodigy.

Even though Sin is out, he’s not great right now, and kizzie has kinda stuck with Ky for now. I think he’s still doing pretty well. I believe they both got the same placing at Frosty Faustings last February.

As an uneducated viewer and generally casual GG player, what does buffering do in this situation at 23:18 and why is it significant? Is “buffering” in this instance the player doing the motion of an attack without pressing the actual attack button (until they need to) in an attempt to react to something Bridget might do?

Even after watching pros play this game I just can't see a reason to play it over fighterz. There just seems to be more combo routes to do on fighterz comparatively. (The reason I say this is because all of my buds are asking me to get it.) Not saying it's a bad game it just seems for lack of a better word "boring" to me.

Heya, just wanna say that's perfectly fine. It's games so just play what is the most fun to you. However, I do want you to do me a favour and not take any clues about this games balancing out of this commemt section. It's full of downplayers. Instead, take a clue from the character selection these absolute beasts at this game brought to the table. Check 00:45 for instance. There is plenty of characters played at highest level.

She, Anji and Faust got lot of improvements. But since most chars received some buffs along the way their "placement" in terms of tiers hasn't seen any drastic changes. You have more tools to close the gap though, these days.
