I'm not an artist, but a full-stack dev. My tip for improvement is: Be curious, try out new tech and crunch. i learned the most in a phase where i had to basically solo-wing a gigantic project because the team fell apart. Had to solve a ton of technical debt and plain horrible architecture. but this leveled me from a Junior dev with roughly one year experience to a senior in just 1.5 years of brutal crunching. Sure, thats "the hard way" but it works exceptionally well if it matches your personality. you grow with your tasks. big challenges, big growth.

@@Ch0rr1s I couldn’t agree more! That’s one of the main reasons I improved so much while working on my Planet Initium project, because I was forced to learn pretty much everything. And that gave me a really good and well rounded game dev experience that ended up being super helpful for my career. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for your kind words! Everyone's gotta start somewhere! We're all on a different journey so what's most important is that we compare us only to ourselves and strive to become better than who we were yesterday :) sooner or later, you're gonna look back and realize how much you've already improved.

Absolutely! Don’t be afraid to “copy” from references because that’s one of the fastest ways to learn good designs and will help you improve much faster!
