Yes, they really do speed things up a lot!

I really enjoy water based markers, for the most part they are very affordable, great range of colours and if used carefully they have a far wider range of books to work in than alcohol markers (and they take me back to fond memories of colouring during my childhood 😁)

Thanks for watching Cindy. I still have pages that I use markers on but don’t necessarily like them at the end of it, I think paper has a lot to do with how successful marker looks 😉

Yes I agree with you ,I have one book and I cannot find anything that works on the paper. Markers will but bleed through really bad and I haven’t found any pencils that have been successful so far.

Absolutely! It is easy to slip into habits that feel comfortable, but with a little thought we may be able to match some simple colouring techniques to specific images, and save ourselves a lot of time and effort while creating a really effective colouring page 👍 It helps to keep the hobby fresh and interesting when we change things up now and then 😊

Yes, it’s all very dependent on the paper. We all have different expectations so it’s all good if you don’t want to risk this with a book 😊 I never used to be so blasé but I’ve loosened up a lot over the years 😁 thanks for watching!

Yes you can do backgrounds like I did with the blue turtle. And in fact, I did record a video with the background but lost it due to technical issues 🫣 I will do another one sometime with the background. Personally I prefer to do backgrounds last - because I start colouring with no colours planned out prior, I wait till the end so that I can complement whatever I’ve used. I only use pencils once I know that all the watery effects are finished 👍
