Thank you Dylan for this video! This is a new perspective that I haven’t thought about before. Could you do a video on ways to research your target customer? I know looking at reviews is one way but sometimes customers don’t go into detail about what they want.

Yes, absolutely! The supplies category is a fantastic opportunity and I have some students crushing the supplies categories right now. I also have students from all over the world-- Canada, Africa, Malaysia, Germany, Belgium, Australia, Mexico, etc!

I’ve had Etsy for 6 months. I only sell Crystals but trying to branch out to accessories. I can’t imagine making a wage from Etsy. Although I’m a star seller and had a few sales each week perhaps, I can’t imagine being busy sadly!

@@dylanjahraus I didn’t expect you to directly reply thank you so much! Honestly every crystal is so different, I am trying to branch out with variety. There is not really a pattern as such at all. I spend many hours trying to make Etsy work. Editing listings, uploading 1 new every day for months. Sales are slow. My shop only has 58 items in right now. My goal is 100 by next month after sales. 🫶

@@realtalktina I am happy for her. I have no horse in the game. I just keep seeing the etsy ad's spouting ' hand made'. I personally love to shop at mom and pop shops over walmart but I don't dislike walmart. I shop there too. But, I don't want walmart to put the unique mom and pop shops out of business, if that makes sense.

I feel like you shouldn’t be shipping anything at all or touching anything email that is scripted if a assistant can do that. But also I have zero sales don’t listen to me 😂😅! I really want to get to this point of success but I don’t have the e-commerce background and nothing has worked unfortunately
