Being a KZfaqr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame -ster of course) will always pay off at the end.

I started my beekeeping channel in 2008. I posted regularly and my channel finally gained traction in 2016. Then, in 2022 I reached 100,000 subscribers and received KZfaq's silver play button. My approach was simply to BE REAL, and make content to help MY AUDIENCE. Overnight success is VERY RARE!

It’s very unfortunate that a niche and audience is stuck one way. I am trying to start a gaming channel and I want to include a little bit of real life and some Pokemon card openings, but don’t have time to build up separate channels and post somewhat consistently. The editing takes up too much time for this, and I can’t afford one. So I’m trying to break the norm and run a channel that shows a variety of each. Every video is slowly becoming better than the last. I will try to work with this for a year and if nothing pops then I’ll see if it’s worth my time to just post at very slow rates. I’m just waiting for that one thing to catch and maybe focus more on it

I once wanted to start my own channel, however, because I have no technical skills for editing, and enough will to keep making content that gets like 10 views, I gave up. Now I want to start once again, with better ideas and some experience from the past. I don't even want to become full scale KZfaqr, I rather want to have a place to share my Minecraft creations, and to entertain myself a bit. Wish me luck, guys. I know I'll fail once again, but I still have to try. Edit: just in case: this is an alt account lol

I can not emphasise enough that breaks are important. Especially if you work part or full time. If you're lucky enough that your parents or someone else supports you or you're on the dole, good for you but for many of us KZfaq, work a d life can burn you out and it's important to understand know when you need a break. Even if the hiatus is for a longer period.

The style of my old videos doesn't feel right in my current reality. I have a question; is making shorts a good idea? I've heard things from "my views went down so bad and i have to start a new channel." to its helping me a ton.I make shorts in my nich should I keep going or stop doing it?
@_catulus
@_catulus Ай бұрын
If you want to be primarily a longform channel, I wouldn’t do many shorts at all. It attracts a split audience. Usually when people subscribe to a channel because of a short, it’s because they want to see more *shorts* like it; it’s rare when people check out a channel’s longform videos because of a short, but KZfaq will notice those subscribers aren’t watching the longer videos, or if they are, it’s usually just the first couple minutes. Take the hours you would spend on shorts and use them to make your long videos better instead. A way to use shorts without harming your main channel though is to create an alternate channel just for shorts and a TikTok account for them too. Ideally, you can make accounts on Instagram and X as well, but TikTok would be the best place to start IMO.

I usually dedicate my every 4 new videos to 1 new episode from each creator/series? does that sound good? Another question is wheter I should post my own series im doing that I branched off from the original skibidi toilet creators. but it dosent do as good as the others. My question is how long should I keep posting my new series by me on my original channel before deciding wheter I should make a new channel just for that series in particular/more??

I produce and edit content for other peoples channels and the hardest thing for me is getting them to apply all this stuff that you’ve mentioned. I’ve been harping on it for over a year now and they just don’t listen then complain when there isn’t growth. I’m over here like “THEN WHY NOT JUST TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO THE THINGS?” I can’t edit the quality content if the quality content isn’t there and planned prior to filming. I have this strong feeling now that if I had the time and energy to build a channel for myself that I’d do so much better than the half assed job I’m forced to do for these other people.

Finally hit 100 subs the other week, avg about 5 subs a month. My channel isn't the most thrilling, and massive channels with hundreds of cuts/b-rolls/fancy graphics is so hard to compete with. Still enjoy creating and providing a review service...just not sure i'll ever get to 1k subs at this rate 😂

It just takes a bit of time for people to find you. Would like to blow up with subscribers but think it's the process we have to go through. And yes just keep it going 👍

So true, your passion can be felt from your content. I gained 300 subs in 2.5 weeks after taking a break from KZfaq.

The travel channel you mentioned in step 1, why did they need to create a new channel why could they not build a new subscriber base on their existing channel? I would’ve thought getting some views would be better than starting a channel from 0, please explain further 🙏

It’s not so much about consistency. It’s about building a video library so KZfaq understands the type of content you create so it can recommend your content to the appropriate audiences. The big video library also allows viewers to stay on platform longer viewing your other content which KZfaq loves.

This is actually what I needed, I did a 30 days challenge on my yt and it didn't get up towards my expectations, completely ruined my mental health, this video is a slap in the face but a slap that is deserved, thanks❤
