People who have never had acne have NO idea how unbelievably lucky they are. They are completely oblivious to how completely life destructing acne is. You lose your life. Your confidence, optimism, enthusiasm, light.. you lose everything. And having random pimples is not having acne. I went through terrible acne for about 10 years, then healed 90% through whole foods diet. But it has taken me years later to understand acne I now believe is MOSTLY mental/emotional. Louise Hay talks about this, acne being lack of self love, acceptance, and carrying guilt/shame. If you are a long prisoner of acne no diet or pills or anything physical will fully cure your skin. you have to free yourself from that cage. stop believing the lies you have told yourself for years. Bless all who has to endure any serious skin disease, it's the toughest road, people are completely turned off and even scared of people with bad skin, they will stay away from you, its a very tough road but in end everything happens for a reason. usually people i meet who went through acne end up being such beautiful kind souls. God bless

I so agree withy you, it took me about 7 -8 years to heal my acne, and the emotional state, yes, that was my first step of my healing journey too! I also talked about that in the video, that I had to heal my emotional state before I could heal my physical body. I too remember years of crying and becoming more and more introverted because of my skin. I feel you so much and I am happy that you found your way through it. Much Love C

Thank you. I’ve had acne since I was 12. I’m 26 now and I feel hopeless. Nothing helps with my acne and all I’ve done is accumulate acne hyperpigmentation over the years. It’s a tough road. I never go out without makeup and I’m afraid of people seeing me without it. This is a special kind of personal hell.

What?! Lol acne is CURABLE. No older adult has acne lol. Gain melasma and watch your world crumble. There is no cure. It's a CHRONIC life long disease. You can't even enjoy sun on your face. So please, gain melasma before you say no one understands. I never had acne but have melasma.....that's permanent.

You are spot on! The metabolic full-body approach is what makes a difference! Acne is the body trying to purge toxins, whether dietary or emotional or from endocrine disrupting products! I love your true ancestral approach; it’s the only way to make real long-lasting positive changes in the body 💗💗

Thank you so much for being authentic & real. You have no idea how much your video means to so many people. It’s gut health for a lot of people like me. The stuff you went over is not discussed mainstream because they rather people get sick then buy their products to “fix” the problem rather than people Heal themselves from the inside out. Ty ✨💕

I really appreciated your dedication to the holistic approach to our bodies and how specific you were about it being "your body". All of our bodies are unique and deserve to be treated as such. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us. I’m 37 and still suffer from acne, though it is so much better than it used to be. I’ve figured out some things that trigger it, so I’m working on removing those from my lifestyle. My daughter is 11 and has developed horrible acne and I’m so worried about it. Diet has such an impact on our whole being. I was vegan for 5 years and my whole family was plant based soon after. It did not work for us. We all developed health issues. I truly believe that my daughters skin problems are a result of lack of bioavailability of nutrition in plants only, along with too many grain carbohydrates and lack of good fats. This video came at such a good time. Many blessings from Missouri

Thank you so much Christine for sharing this interesting video! 🙏🏼💚 I struggled a lot with acne in the past and when going to doctors they were always trying to fix it from the outside until I started working on my gut health and hormone system and changed the way I eat and the products I use, all that was what healed my acne. And even now when I have a lot of stress and bad quality of sleep, I see an immediate impact on my skin and my digestive system. I hope you can reach a lot of people with your video because this is so valuable! 🙏🏼 Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and take care 😘

Even though I have been lucky to never struggle with acne, this is still interesting to watch :). And some tips you give here can be applied for other things or in general too. I could definitely take better care of my body, there is a good chance that I'm lacking minerals or need to change some things, because I feel tired almost every day, but I also don't know where to start or how to find out what exactly I need to do. So I'm looking forward to this new series you are doing besides your usual videos, it's a great idea! And I'm glad you managed to heal your acne, I imagine it was a long tough journey. ❤

Wow, I feel like I watched every single on KZfaq about how to clear acne and this was by far the best. It was extremely well-structured and packed with information. By now, I have cleared my acne with Accutane, but I know and always knew that it is a very effective way to suppress the symptoms rather than healing the root cause. I love the holistic approach you have. Thank you!

Fantastic video Christine. I don’t have acne but I do have skin issues and it makes total sense to consider your holistic approach to fixing it- rather than nonsense by other people about miracle products. I’ve never heard of some of the supplements you mentioned but I will be sure to look them up. I will also point anyone I know with acne towards your course. Your skin is beautiful and radiant, just like you.

I found this video when I was thinking about how a vegetarian or vegan diet wasn't working for my hormones. I don't have a lot of acne but I've had comedones and some inflamed acne for years and cutting out animal products made it so much worse. Now I'm also taking a more ancestral approach and my skin is calmer, no more inflammation and looks more radiant. Such a spot on video. Thank you for sharing all this information in such a gentle and well structured way

This video is amazing Christine! 💚 As a Skin Therapist (all organic 🌱) I got a lot of clients coming in wanting help with their acne, and there is no quick fix! It’s a process of recognizing the problem and then start your healing from the inside, as well as using the right products for your skin! It’s crucial for achieving a good result 💚 I’m so happy that you found your way to heal! I’m sure your video will inspire others to start their healing journey as well 💚🙏🏻 Much love, Sylvia 🙋🏼‍♀️🐺🇳🇴

This is super insightful thank you for creating this and sharing your story! The only thing that makes me nervous is the idea of incorporating animal products back in to my life. I feel like my body could surely benefit from some but for me it doesn’t feel so simple to just decide to have them again knowing what so many animals go through in the process. I think it could be helpful to many to expand on that aspect of food medicine, knowing where to source humane animal projects.

It's wonderful that you're getting this information to the people who need it. I'm in my 40's and all my generation ever had was creams and pills. I've had both acne and rosacea, and the low self-esteem from both is horrible. Thankfully my skin is balanced now, because I follow a diet very much like the one you describe here. It also has helped balance my blood sugar and reverse peri-menopausal weight gain. Diet is so crucial to good health. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

My biggest source of acne, as I discovered, was Cow's milk. Not soy milk, or oat milk. Not cheese, not yogurt, or cottage cheese, or ice cream. JUST cow's milk. Don't know why. But once I figured it out there was definitely a noticeable pattern. Even a little milk in my coffee would cause break outs. So now I try to avoid it, as best as I can. Even though I still love the taste of it.

Was it pasteurized? I quit milk due to acne and tummy upset as a teen but now in my 20s I rediscovered RAW milk and my body loves it! Raw jersey milk from grass fed cows is not even close to homogenized, pasteurized milk from feedlot cows with all sorts of additives from the supermarket!!

I went to an acne specialist (NOT dermatologist; they were unhelpful and barely learn about acne in school anyway) and she was super helpful. She did chemical peels and microneedling, but also encouraged me to do a good journal where I found I was sensitive to corn products and dairy (and too much sugar). Game changer! I also wash my pillowcases every week and switch the side I use every few days

I had the same problem, and i went for a lot of uncomfortable research also because i knew something was not right with my body.i have to low metabolism and everything effects my skin. But my type was a mix of all😆 but probably came Down to hormonal, i tried a lot aswell but for me progestoron was the cure, (dont just take it, figure out what you are missing of hormones before you take it i Think it helps with hormon balance, and i’m pretty sure its Naturel something we already have in our body, some just dont have enough but if you want to try make sure to do proper research)i put it on my arms and legs for a year and then my skin was perfect, i dont take it anymore even though i probably should, but my skin is perfect now, i also quit eating milk and gluten for 5 years i didn’t eat milk or gluten, not its most of the time, but just realizing how much milk you eat during the day is crazy if you are not use to Think about it. I can’t go back to eating milk because i Can feel now how sick it makes me. But i Can tell you are right about so Many things, i know i should be better at taking my vitamins and i could do more for my stomach but its seriously hard.

Hi Christine - Came over from Kalle's channel. You are such a beautiful lady with a lovely soul. So glad you address the causes of this problem and not its symptoms which is the way of medicine today. U.K. doctors (in the brief few minutes of consultation you're allocated) just prescribe drugs which ensures huge profits for the pharmaceutical companies. Anyone can benefit from taking the steps you suggest (good gut health, the right minerals, self love, etc.). Good health is a blessing but it needs work too!

Hi ! For me the only thing that worked with my acne was taking out of my diet any diary products. I was trying antibiotics and topical creams for a while already, with no results and then I cured my hormonal acne getting rid of milk, cheese, etc. I could see the improvement in only one month. To be honest I was addicted to this products, I was eating them daily , starting my day with my milk coffee.

@chellybarnard6394
@chellybarnard6394 2 жыл бұрын
@@fleurdhiver3906 I had to do several things. Each thing made a difference, and then a few years later, I would make another change, and things improved even more. First, when I was at my wits end trying to find a solution, I made an appointment with an aesthetician at a dermatologist's office. She explained to me that there were two basic types of acne (clearly she missed a few, but this was almost 20 years ago). For topical irritant acne, salicylic acid is effective. She recommended a 5% gel formula rather than a face wash because the gel stays on the spots, and you rinse the face wash off. For the painful, infectious acne, she recommended Benzoyl peroxide cream, at 10% strength. These treatments were effective against outbreaks, but didn't prevent them. Years later, I discovered that dairy was causing both gastric upset and infectious acne. And excessive sugar consumption (usually around the holidays) also led to painful breakouts. I also had to switch my makeup. I now eat lots of vegetables and healthy meats, and limit sugar consumption, and have few breakouts these days (unless I eat poorly).When I do have a breakout, I treat it with either the salicylic acid or the benzoyl peroxide cream.

Usually you need to exclude red meat, dairy products, wheat flour and sugar to get rid of acne. But I would recommend you to read about Blood type diet by Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo. It has helped me with menstrual pain and excess weight. We are all sensitive and allergic to different types of products. Blood type diet will help you to find the allergens. It really works. And one more thing your son could also try is raw food diet. 🙏

Types of acne can give you a clue, people with cystic acne as what I had when I was younger was hormonal, most often linked to excess progesterone/testosterone production as androgens often spur on more than usual oil production in the skin. A trip to the Dermatologist was the key to healing, the bigger cysts were treated with injections and used a topical cream to to dry the skin and dry up some of the pores. Sometimes even a short course tetracycline also can keep the bacteria down and inflammation. Diets really haven't been shown to really do anything, there isn't any studies that have shown to be of help. Eating well is good for just overall health. Lots of healthy drinks and just normal hygiene. The bottom line, as you age hormones slow down and the acne phase does get better. Even pregnancy can change your hormones enough to quiet it down as estrogen will be higher and the androgens less.

It is funny to a degree Christine as when I was younger I to had ache, well most adolescents do when growing up but as I lived in the City, its seemed I had my own and someone else's as well and then one summer I spent two months on a retreat at my Uncles home in Perthshire Scotland and in fresh air , away from city fume, my skin improved. Might it have been we washed in spring water fed from the hills behind his house or the facts I worked the land and so was out in all weathers tending to his sheep. Do not know but when I returned, never had ache again but instead a clear skin and lots of attention of certain girls. Enough said on that matter.

I think I developed estrogen dominance from the covid shot ! Yuck ! Currently trying to detox took an intolerable test and it stated I was either severely deficient or deficient in vitamins A, E , D , selenium, cq10 , DHA , omega 3 and vitamin B1 . Um that’s a lot and I noticed those are vitamins for good skin! I love your video will take note

It’s lack of fire in the body and staph as well x Cinnamon moves the blood and dries out the pathogen (drives out excess earth / kapha / water) But it’s often staph and many don’t know that. The lymph system is toxic and stuff grows much like a bog

The cure for acne is simple. Good oral hygiene. Before bed floss,brush and this is very important rinse with an oral antiseptic. When some people sleep they slobber and those mouth germs end up on your face especially around your mouth causing zits. Also change your bedding once a week especially your pillow case.

Ever'body's gonna hate me for sayin' this. But I'm a-gonna tell it like it was and still is, ANYways. For about a decade (or possibly 6 years,) I had severe acne. I finally read in a Natural Health type of book that zinc deficiency often causes acne infections to be able to continue, so I purchased the type of zinc it recommended as the best, Zinc Gluconate, (in powder form inside gelcaps is what I always get for supplements' highest QUALITY,) and took it daily without overdosing. I ate well without much refined sugar in my diet, (and NEVER eat deep-fried foods and vegetable, seed or soy/bean oils in my meals or snacks,) and my acne cleared up IMMEDIATELY after getting Zinc, usually in my "multi's." Sorry if I offended anybody by sayin' how simple it was to finally solve this problem! I ALso used benzoyl peroxide topical cream that was dermatologist QUALITY (((meaning NO "goo" in it, that most acne creams have added in them to KEEP your breakouts coming back, so you KEEP needing to buy and use the acne topical treatment, so they KEEP making money off ya,))) and that was okay- and- good, but I've found that taking the HIGHEST QUALITY multivitamins containing Zinc with low-sugar meals/ snacks is far more effective at clearing up acne in the LONG run than topical creams. Plenty of deep sleep and fluid intake, moderate exercise outdoors in fresh clean air, sweating, and direct Sunlight on the skin for at least 10 minutes daily for vitamin D, or taking D-3 as a supplement with healthful fat in food taken WITH the D-3 to make it abSORB into the bloodstream, also help some. Clean hair and pillowcases, towels, clothes, hats, makeup items, fingernails, hands, et cetera, of course are all essential to help keep bacteria from infecting pores. However, overall HEALTH is the key to healthy skin, and nothing helps me with THAT as much as fresh, raw, locally-grown fruit and almost daily potato. I drink some organic carrot juice, too -- -- I like Columbia Gorge brand, it tastes the freshest.
