Started playing 35 years ago I gigged for a lot of that time. Like a lot of people in the 80s and 90s I played by ear and feel alone with minimal musical theory. I stepped away from playing for a while and now I'm back I've been exploring different ideas and learning some of this "theory stuff" I didn't back then... I simply learnt a song and played it. It is by going to jams and improvising with younger musicians that I realised I was missing this chord theory stuff! As they've all learned with this repository of information called the internet! I've just downloaded the ebook and honestly it's going to help a huge amount... Having a focus to your practice is so important and the old adage of "you never stop learning" is true even for virtuosos let alone grubby wee former semi pros like myself. Thanks Dave 👍
