I had the same problem. I removed the bulb holder, drilled thru the back & soldered a wire onto each bulb terminal, stripped & connected directly to the correct 2 leads on the harness. No removal of anything required.

I have a 2004 Mercedes benz clk 500 front passenger side signal light not blinking , what wire harnes do I need to by pass a new connection or where and what wire do I need to connect to it ??

I’m not sure with the CLK. You have to identify what each wire is in the existing harness. Use a voltmeter and an extra hand if you can. Have them activate the signals to quicken the identifying process.

@@goldelementautoworks I want to try to connect a after market signal light but need to locate the correct wires to by by the after market harnes to see if that works , all my fuses are good not blown , so I thinks the actual harnes inside the head light that is shifting out causing problems or maybe the esp relay that’s is the steering wheel behind the horn connection to the signal lights switch idk ?? I just need to get my car to pass inspection

If it’s exterior......wet sand and compound/polish. If it’s internal, disassemble and wipe out inside.
