No, it's a natural trait that is characteristic of psychopaths and there's even an old video right here on YT about that very topic. He is driven by ruthless greed...doesn't give a damn what innocent people have to suffer, be it his mother, his innocent neighbor fat Tony who he got arrested, any number of the people her terrorized and traumatized during the commission of these robberies, probably leaving many with crushing PTSD for years, and he was going to jump bail and flee to Costa Rica leaving behind a young wife to care for a 15 month old baby. Only reason he didn't: judge denied bail. He's a standard, typical ruthlessly greed-driven psychopath who is incapable of caring about anyone BUT himself...and decades on this planet and careful study of what is and is not acceptable to society have enabled him to lie as easily as he breathes and say exactly what he thinks most ignorant people want to hear.

the thing is you can not be charged for a crime after a certain amount of time because you simply can not prove certain things after that amount of time like i could ask you where were you saturday 24 of march 2004 and you wouldnt know you couldnt prove anything and a confession is useless to some degree because what would happen is a high ranked mobster gets arrested he sees all the charges the mob family goes and finds a poor family offers the father alot of cash so he can save his family and all he has to do is confess that it wasnt the mobster who comited the crime it was actually the poor father who ran the criminal empire thats why its added ontop of existing evidence and not the main part of the evidence

Yes, this is just another strange inconsistencies in his story. I mean, you're a Jewel thief which will already get you 25 to life, but you're worried about whether you carry a real gun or not? Who the fuck robs a jewelry store with a bb gun? As soon as they look at the barrel they'll know it's a bb gun. He says he points the gun directly at them and yells " Get down this is a robbery"!! Remember, he is a notorious jewel thief that works hand and hand with the New York mafia, but he robs with a bb gun.

Dang, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, somehow I kept hoping he would get away, even tho the video is called “How I got caught.” Larry should be a professional storyteller or something

He already is one, he tells his old prison stories(maybe some are apocryphal but they're fun stories regardless), and he's making a nice sum between YT and patreon.

He could've even survived if it had hit an inch within his head! He would be mildly slower but the human body can recover from amazing things.

Yeah, and it really makes you think, he's like 1 in 10 or 100 other guys who are so nice and genuine that DIDN'T get tragically killed. Think of all the other 99 criminals who could be with us on KZfaq, sharing their stories today, but aren't because fate didn't work out for them.
