Hola. Me encanto tu COMENTARIO. YO TENGO 49 AÑOS. AL VENIR AKI YO PODIA MUCHO INGLES. LUEGO EMPEZE A TRABAJAR CON PURO MEXICANO X 8 AÑOS. CREEME K EL INGLES SE ME OLVIDO. TRABAJE EN OTROS LUGARES CON PUROS AMERICANOS MALOS, RACISTAS, Y DESCRIMINADORES K ME HAN HUMILLADO TANTO X NO SABER HABLAR INGLES. (ME DICEN K KUSAS TENGO UN BLOQUEO EN EL CEREBRO) PERO LA VERDAD NO ENTIENDO NI HABLO CASI NADA. SIEMPRE TENGO K ANDAR PREGUNTANDO K DIJERON. ES MUY FRUSTRANTE PARA MI. PERO TUS PALABRAS ME HAN ANIMADO MUCHO. NUNCA ES TARDE PARA APRENDER Y PRIMERO DIOS LO VOY A LOGRAR.

Undoubtedly, your story is a direct motivation and inspiration, but we must understand that everyone has different conditions and opportunities. I think the most important thing is to be able to be in an English-speaking environment and communicate continuously without using your native language. This is the only way to start speaking well in a short time, otherwise it can take many years.

Thank you for sharing this with us. I believe that listening is the foundation of learning any language and of course here, we're talking about how to become fluent in the English language. By immersing myself in English, I achieved my goal of becoming fluent in English. And I've never been in an English speaking country, by the way. If I hadn't watched your other videos before, I'd probably think that you were a native speaker. As someone who moved to the United States at a very young age, you, of course, easily learned how to speak English despite all the challenges and difficulties you might have had in that process. I mean, it would be impossible if you didn't speak English like you do now. When you live in America, the clerk at the grocery store will be speaking English with you, the doctor at the hospital will be speaking English with you, your neighbors will be speaking English with you etc.. However, I also want to point out that there are some people who still can't speak the language fluently like you do despite all the years they spend living in the country. As you mentioned, your hard work paid off. Thanks again!

I've been watching different videos to get language learning tips. I was trying really hard to figure out where you were from. There's no such thing technically as an American accent. Just like all other countries, we have different accents depending on which part of the country you're from. Your accent sounds natural. I honestly didn't think Colombia. Good job. I just heard you say Nashville. I'm your neighbor! Huntsville to the south.
