I just want to say thank you. My husband has been going to the gym for six months now and has gotten a lot of gains. I have been so unmotivated and afraid of weights. Refusing to go to the gym with him. Seeing his gains first off made me happy for him but also feeling pretty bad about myself. I stumbled across your channel the other day and you have really motivated me. Today I’m going to the gym for the first time in two years and I’m going solely to lift weights! Your such an inspiration just know that your videos are making a difference out there. I have 150lb to lose and I’m more motivated than ever thanks to your amazing channel! You make weight lifting for women look fun and I want in! 😬

meg you totally inspire me so much! needed to hear this today. I agree nutrition is like the top of it all. My husband and I have been lifting for just about 4 years. We have done 3 shows and getting into spartan races. Lately I feel like I can't lean out for the life of me and it gets really discouraging. So hearing this today really helped and I will keep lifting on ☺ thanks girl for being you 💪

Thanks for another really helpful video Meg! Your office is looking great, I reckon wallpaper is a good idea but maybe just on one wall, and paint the rest a light colour so you don't make the room look too small/crowded? If you find it difficult to keep jewellery untangled or somewhere you can find it, you could stick a few small nails in the wall to the left of your vanity so you can hang each piece of jewellery off them and keep it all neat and tidy :) looking forward to your next video already, full days of eating are always welcome thank you!!

Meg, very empowering video. Nutrition is key to good health, performance, and recovery. It is easy to get into patterns/habits of eating that are not in tune with the workout changes and changes of life. No amount of exercise will overcome a bad diet. Being comfortable and happy in one's body is essential. You seem to embody this better than anyone else I've listened to. I always notice that face! It's beautiful. Love the pink lipstick. Good color for you. thanks again for sharing so honestly.

Really informative video. I use Home Chef (have tried Hello Fresh as well and liked that too, just liked the more ethnic and creative recipes with Home Chef a little better) and have found it to be amazing for portion control. I've been lifting for about 4 years and definitely hit a loooong plateau where I felt like I was "stuck" and hadn't made much progress in the past year. I had an opportunity to train a few sessions with a semi-retired bodybuilding coach I happen to work with at my day job, and it was exactly what I needed to start progressing again. He made a couple small tweaks to my nutrition and training and the results have been awesome. Even if you're an experienced lifter, getting an expert opinion/advice can make a big difference and help, you get back to making progress. Love your videos and have learned a ton from watching - thanks for being a great example for all of the strong strong women out there. 💪🏼

This is very informative! I have always wondered where I fit on the spectrum? I’ve been strength training on and off for 6 years but it wasn’t until this past year that I’ve really committed. I’m the type of person to workout consistently but suck at nutrition. 1 month my nutrition would be on point and after that I’d just give up. So basically I’ve been counting macros for these past 3 months and this is the most committed I’ve been. I lost 15lbs, which is by far the most I’ve lost in a cut phase. Anyway, what I’m trying to ask is if I’m still considered a beginner or somewhere in between? I’ve been making strength gains I’ve never knew I was capable of even in a cutting phase. It’ll probably be awhile until I actually look muscular or like I workout. Hopefully I didn’t waste a whole 5 years doing nothing. Mostly likely I did ahah! It’s okay though now I know nutrition is key!

Meg is hot with or without a few pounds of fat. It's actually more about the confidence you exude when *you* feel better about how you look. Most people won't even notice a few pounds on (or off) an attractive woman, and a lot of men will prefer a little fat to super lean. What really makes a big difference in how attractive you are to others is how your attitude changes when you feel better about yourself.

Try not to focus on the scale too much! ☺️ Instead, focus on what you achieved this week as compared to last week in terms of lifting/getting stronger. Are you lifting heavier? Do the weights feel lighter? Are you able to do more sets/reps with more ease? Do you FEEL stronger? By approaching training this way, you'll definitely be more motivated than by just looking at a number
